I agree, I don't think I saw too many people calling it OP or broken.
The meta needs to settle a bit. Too much aggro/tempo. That's classically a very bad time for Miracle Rogue (which is sort of where it appears Kingsbane fits best).
It's a totally new decktype. It will take some time to be refined.
True, I didn't see it really being called OP, but compared to the other weapons released, there seemed to be a lot of buzz around the card especially once Cavern Shinyfinder was revealed. I also agree with others saying that the meta hasn't settled yet and that it won't for a few weeks. I was just curious with what other people's early impressions were.
My early impressions are that it's strong, but perhaps with what is available not strong enough to survive in this meta without more support. So keep your eye on it, cause rotation will shake things up quite a bit.
It does seem to be getting outshined by other decks currently, at least in standard. But I'm interested and hoping to see more of it in the future. I am really looking forward to the end of this rotation, it will finally give some other decks a chance

It's not as gamebreaking as everybody thought but it's still a great card, one of the best legendary weapons for sure. But in rogue so far the best new card they got is Fal'dorei Strider.
The poll was basically just supposed to be tl;dr of what people's thoughts were, but I accept the criticism. I agree with you in regards to Fal'dorei Strider as I have seen much more of that card with greater success
Take a trip to Wild, were Rogues can use Tinkers Sharpsword Oil. I'm having fun with my 11/3 Lifesteal Kingsbane...
Good point, I hadn't thought about how the card was doing in Wild since I only really play Standard myself. i can definitely see how it would be crazy there
Before the release of KaC, Kingsbane was all the talk about being top tier, but I really haven't seen much of it since release. And when I have played against a Rogue with the weapon, it has so far seemed pretty underwhelming.
It hasn't been that long since release, so maybe a solid deck featuring the weapon hasn't come along yet? Or am I an outlier in that my interactions with the card are underwhelming? What are other's experiences in playing against the card?
I don't have the card myself, but those who do, what has been your experience so far with the card? Is there success that I am not seeing?
I'm in the same boat, it seemed interesting to me but also on the fence. But I opened a golden Temporus so I'm basically obligated to try out a dragon priest.

I was pretty lucky with this expansion, opened about 65 packs, got 7 legendaries, including a golden Temporus !
Free weapon was Dragon Soul
Lynessa Sunsorrow
Val'anyr
Aluneth
golden Temporus
Grumble, Worldshaker
Woecleaver
The Darkness

So far I'm loving Lynessa Sunsorrow. The fact that when Potion of Heroism is cast on her draws you cards is insane. I've actually been able to complete The Last Kaleidosaur fairly consistently.

First legendary I opened, as a Paly main I can't wait to try it out.

Opened 25 packs so far (waiting to get home from work to open the rest), already got 3 legendaries in addition to my free weapon, Dragon Soul
Lynessa Sunsorrow (very happy as I mainly play Paly)
Aluneth
Grumble, Worldshaker
Best luck I've had so far with an expansion!

Aluneth. It's got a nice Aladdin reference
