    Hey peeps, I've run into a couple hurdles with my card idea.

    I wanted to create a new dynamic when choosing which cards to play from hand; do i try to move this card to the right hand spot to get some sweet value next turn? Or do I simply play the most powerful card i have right now? Decisions!

    But I'm unsure how i should balance this effect, and how to word it to be easy to understand. I originally had it as a (1) mana discount, but i thought that because you HAVE to play the card you top-deck every turn in order to keep gaining value from this card, that it should at least be a worthwhile pursuit. Your thoughts?

    What you guys think about Blackwater Loan? I aimed for a versatile and thematically fitting card and went through a few different iterations until i settled on this one. I'm super happy it made it to the finals this week, but i was wondering what you all thought about it from a design perspective.

    You people really don't like making things easy do you? So i cheated and used a very generic song name of theirs. Sue me.

    Next: A card that makes you lose all your mana crystals but gives you some great benefit for it.

    A minion named "Ya'jar Nix" with some sort of archery flavor on its ability.

    This is both incredibly vague and frustratingly specific. If you want someone to make a certain character you would do well to provide a few more details...

    A Beast card that fits in a Mage deck

    I guess it doesn't actually fit into any current Mage decks, but it works thematically at least :)

    A non-beast late game (7+) Hunter legendary.

    Man this was a lot harder than i thought lol.

    Nathanos is the best Blighthound trainer in the business. He is also the only Blighthound trainer in the business.

     Next: A minion with a negative Enrage effect.

    A mechanic we don't have enough of in hearthstone is immediate reward with delayed drawbacks. Good for straight up card draw if you want to pay off your loan right now, or amazing combo activation if you're willing to sacrifice a card here or there. Both versatile and useful!

    Mmm mostly true. Enrage effects cause a minion to gain a persistent effect as long as the minion is damaged, but doesnt necessarily have to be something that only occurs once. E.g. "Enrage: At the end of each turn, summon a 1/1 Burning Hound for each enemy minion." Would work, or "Enrage: Whenever your opponent summons a minion, summon a 1/1 Burning Hound."
    You can't persistently summon a minion without having a condition. The way it is currently worded implies that it always summons hounds all of the time, forever, as long as it is damaged. After 'Enrage' add an 'Always' and you'll get an idea of how it works. :)

    If anyone even THINKS about touching your rear they're gonna have a bad time.
