Worked for me, didn't have Boom (never crafted him ) so I put in Sylvanas and got him on my second attempt. Kel'thusad was honestly the MVP for me, had good tempo, got Thaurissan out on turn 6, Lich King on 7, and KT on 8, C'thun was at 20/20 when I drew him and plopped him down to win next turn. Sylvanas was a pretty big help too as he completely ignores hitting her with anything.

Didn't get the Gedgeteers until the last 5 cards and still won with this one pretty handily. His minion even gave me a troll penguin to play on the last turn.

    I love him

Deck's already been going around like crazy, only thing I've seen it lose to was vs Priest with Forbidden Shaping. This is a pretty bad brawl, sadly. Vs. mirror match, you get the coin, you pretty much win unless you get awful RNG on draws.

On the plus side, you'll get a cast 40 spells quest done super fast.

Well, what I've been running is this:  http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/537444-anti-cthun-nzoth-priest

It can be a little slow against Aggro if they get a super good start but I've done at least 50/50. All the Shaman decks running around seem to be my biggest annoyance, as I usually need the Pains for Troggs or Totem Golems and the Deaths for those 7/7 that come way too early.

I took a similar deck from Rank 18 to Rank 9 at the end of last month before hitting a wall and staying around Rank 10. It's definitely my most fun deck to play, but I've found myself needing to run 2 copies each of Excavated Evil and Holy Nova just to have a 50/50 shot at the amount of aggro I run into then and now. Every time I'd get a win streak, I'd tend to get outsped by a Face Warlock.

My biggest question is how helpful do you find the Thoughtsteal x2 to be? The Shifting Shade is probably my new favorite card from the set as it gives me so many good things, and with it usually being in my Museum Curator choices without a better one, I often would get 3 out before even an N'Zoth play would happen, so never felt Thoughtsteal was really needed. I use a Faceless Manipulator for lack of Justicar and Herald, and it's super good for Paladin on copying Uther; and used two copies of each shadow word and Entomb, as there are a lot of plays that seem to benefit from them.  I also ran Elise Starseeker as I found myself going to fatigue many games and just outlasted many decks. This type of deck usually completely shuts down a C'thun deck, I was having over 90% against anything C'thun based, with the Twin Emperors usually being the only problem card of the bunch and C'thun himself would usually get Entombed. Other decks seemed to be just about 50/50 though with the midrange Shaman needing the right cards at the right time, and Dragon Priest just being tough to get around everything. I wasn't actually running Wild Pyromancer though, I may need to test and see how it works.

Maybe an odd enabler for a different type of hunter using Eydis Darkbane, Fiola Lightbane, Echoing Ooze, Dragonkin Sorcerer, etc, but don't see how it could really work.

    Hobgoblin Hunter? Who knows.

I mostly came to see if others were experiencing the same thing I was, in a little more than half a dozen games so far, the hunter deck has not won once, and the mage deck has not even come close to losing. I don't know if everyone is just playing the hunter deck wrong or something but it just appears the mage deck has the better, more useful cards in it. Most of the games I've played the hunter is just too low on health too quickly before the joust cards even become useful. =/
