I got +3 Spelldamage, heroes take double damage, and spells cost 2 less, now Diablo constantly OTKs me on turn 2 or 3 by just playing apocalypse, which destroys all minions and deals 12 damage to me for each destroyed. Complete clownfiesta with this combo...
This is not only an amazing control tool, but also a nutty finisher for an aggressive/midrange strategy, especially when paired with Feast and Famine in Paladin.
That's why i said "with a weapon package". So you would obviously run more than 2 weapons alongside this card. But again, idk if it's worth it, because most warrior weapons are on the mediocre side, and this card isn't broken enough on it's own to justify running them in my opinion. Especially since it doesn't have a tribe, which would synergize with the rest of the archetype.
DH isn't really struggling with card draw, also Guitar Soloist itself is kinda weak, so I really doubt you would wanna run that combo, unless you're really racing towards some sort of OTK as fast as possible.
Kind of a shame this is tribeless. It would be a nice fit for menagerie warrior to include with a weapon package, but without a tribe, i'm not sure it's worth it. Might be though.
Really strong effect, but wow this is slow. 5 mana do nothing immediately hasnt been good in hearthstone for years. Also warrior isnt exactly known for having the best draw in the game.
I think the game would have to slow down significantly for this to see realistic play.
I watched twitch yesterday for a couple hours, the drop bar filled up and I claimed the drop of the Xyrella Battlegrounds Portait, yet in game it's nowhere to be found. On my twitch page it says it's claimed. I even disconnected and reconnected my twitch and battle.net accounts, but no results.
4 mana to draw a single card that you then still have to pay full mana for to play it.
Meanwhile DK gets a 3 mana spell that will just remove the resulting huge taut minion (Asphyxiate). I really dont understand what they are thinking with warrior atm. This is terrible.
Blizzard has clearly shown they have the ability to ban certain mechanics from appearing when a particular tribe is in the game by banning the Mirror Shield quest reward when Murlocs are in the game.
Can we please do the same for George? He essentially gets mirror shield every game (but better, because he doesn't even have to get lucky to have the shield land on a murloc), so it always comes down to George either dying early, or him just eradicating the lobby.
I'm not saying Murloc George is unbeatable. Token builds or builds with refreshing divine shields can obviously do it. Problem is that a full board of divine shield poisonous murlocs just locks out any approach that focuses on stats by default. It's just inherently so unfun when you see: Oh george is in this game and he has murlocs? Guess Elementals, Quillboar and Demons are off the table, let's hope i can get a Mech build going!
