Overwatch was never a subscription service. It was a 1-time $20 payment for the game. Loot boxes could be purchased with real money or earned in-game for cosmetics. You did not ever have to pay a monthly cost to play the game.
overwatch 2 being free to play is just more in line with standard gaming practices; f2p gets more players in the door, who are more willing to “support the devs of a game I like” by shelling out for cosmetics every month or so.
when the reward track was implemented into Hearthstone, I remember a lot of people number-chrunching who determined that it was less gold as a ftp. However, my anecdotal experience was an increase in the amount of gold I earned; likely because I was not min-maxing and had never hit the 200g max from 3-wins that was present before the reward track. I prefer the reward track system, as it helps contextualize my time spent and rewards me with things other then just raw gold.
And there is nothing wrong with your assessment of his logic. Blizzard not caring if f2p leaves is not the equivalent of blizzard being anti-f2p. A f2p model gets people in the door, which encourages spending. People who come, and don’t pay but remain f2p are good for community health, but are not the target audience of the financial side of the business. And when the business needs to make more money, decisions are made regarding the established purchasers, not the prospective ones.

I played Magic the Gathering 20 years ago. The game is still there and will always be (it's like Lego, chess or poker, etc.. an eternal game).
I recognized from the start, 7 years ago that HS has the same characterists of longevity.
Might be a strange idea to some "players", that a game could be eternal, but this game will always be.
I'm not a dellusional fan boy (nor a hard core gamer), but just realistic from my own experience :)

2 subjects I'd like to hear your thoughs on them :
1. Main strengh (problem) about New quests are how easy they are to finish and how strong (/oppressive) the reward are.
Main reason is because of the battlecry, of course. But is the 5 mana 7/7 body is well balanced too ? (I would argue 5/5 would be better).
2. Reward track : Any "feel bad" feeling when you complete an achievement from a previous Season Reward track, and Blizzard deny you the 100-200-500 exp reward ?
Because giving 1/10 of a card pack is too much for accomplishing a often ininteresting task... ?

I think I never complain once about free content since Blizzard lauch HS.
But this puzzle experience was quite horrific to me :/
Guess their are testing out how much shit a player can waste his time for to get a meaning less reward..

Thx you, Make sense for the card selection part.
But what about eh puzzles to resolve. There is so little to zero hint about what to achieve and how the mechanism works

Any explanations about the logic of how this has been found !?
Seems like random s**t

Seems like a valid reason at 1st, but it's completly false in fact.
"Watch post" is very similar to a minion type and it's NOT an exact name of any card.
It's just that the pool of Watch posts (playable) currently available is so little than the impact on this card and his playability is huge.
The card itself never changed and has the exact same powerlevel.
So it can't be deny that it is an UNdirect nerf.

already done, double time is ultra rare since last update
= 1% chance to get

Discard warlock is a good deck in Wild. Si it's all about the strengh of the supportting cards around any strategy.

Favorite Book or Heroes so far ! Fights are challenging and fun at the same time.
The last fight is a great puzzle to solve and despite many noobs are whinning about, the script is a requirement for this.
