Every card has some way to counter it. Just the fact that counters exist, doesn't mean the cards cannot be run.
It's so simple. If you know the opponent still has a Plague of Death in their decks, you don't put all your value on the board. Just because you lost to a silence or two, doesn't mean it's broken.
There haven't been a lot of new and powerful deathrattle cards, which is more of a shame tbh. I really like (the old) N'zoth and I always have 2-3 decks with him somewhere.
What if one of Cthun spell countered is? Like from Counterspell. No battlecry?
I haven't seen the stream so i don't know the exact works, but wouldn't it be that he would "assemble" when all four have been played. If one is not played (countered) then I doubt C'thun will appear in your hand.
I don’t now your level but even if I already reached legend today, note that the wild meta (in EU at least) is an aggro shitfest, without many Razakus (most control decks are Demon or Reno warlocks). So in case you don’t want to join the aggro assholes train, it’s kinda easy to farm them.
Welcome to the wild side.
You may say that but yesterday I played five consecutive games against priest.
My very own dragon midrange value priest deck slaughtered them, but they definitely weren't aggro.
I will be so dissapointed if the new game mode isn't a mode -other than wild -, where i can use my cards which rotated out.
Same. I really really hope for a rotating system where just some random expansions (not just the most recent + classic or ALL) are rotated out every month.
I love wild but I wish there was a way to not see all the same cards every time.
It's the same thing every day. Calling for nerfs, complaining about matchups and tears upon tears about RNG. You add NOTHING to the discussion with this thread.
I've played this game since GvG's launch, and I start a round at least a couple of games a week. I only ever netdeck when I can add a personal twist OR when it's clearly a non-top-tier deck like, idk, Totem Shaman.
Due to having seen and played with so many archetypes over the years, I find it quite easy to come up with working decks and pick out poorly performing cards quite quickly. Of course my decks are still rough around the edges. My win rate I feel is nominal (around 50%) which I feel is to be expected. But tbh I never JUST play Hearthstone. I like to Netflix next to it.
Last night I homebrewed a wild beast druid tempo deck. If course it's not actually viable against the top tier highlander decks (while I can still sneak in a win occasionally) but that's not a problem at all for me.
Another day, another poorly performing deck someone lost by once and, instead of posting it in the salt section, makes a new topic because he thinks it's "against the rules" and goes on an all-out to attempt to counter it.
If you can't win against a deck that "does nothing until turn 8", maybe the one silence isn't your problem.
Let the Mozaki mage have fun for one game. It's a really poor combo that rarely pulls off.
It's really something that requires testing BUT I really love that idea. It allows you to flex in some counters to your decks and pick tech cards regardless of the meta without being punished.
Having a meta is obviously healthy for the game, but a meta amongst tech cards is really bad as the result will either be very good or very bad being a dead card.
So that said, tech cards may become too strong in that case. Except in wild, where nobody knows what others could be playing.
I sometimes play a deck for a while and keep going against certain other decks. As soon as I want to counter those decks, I get a different type of opponent entirely, like five matches in a row.
The first match I play again with the previous deck is once again after this.
Also my long, very easy winstreaks are generally followed by a long and difficult lose streaks where I just don't get the draws constantly.
I'm good. I've never really enjoyed the SP content. I really hated the Galakrond's Awakening as there is no other way to access those cards other than either spending money or loads and loads of gold.
Exactly my point. I don't see what's wrong with buffing cards to potentially create new viable decks or even archetypes. Totem Goliath is actually a very good card now.

Same goes for Taunt with cards like The Black Knight and Kayn Sunfury.

An almost 50% w-l ratio?
Unheard of.

Take your bitching to the salt thread.

Au no-revoir.

"The game is becoming stale and drastically losing popularity."
Daring statement. Got any numbers for that?

Emm...
They're buffs.

Please don't. I don't want to be forced to spend exorbitant amounts of gold or money for access to otherwise uncraftable cards.
