     Shaman has never NOT been about token swarming.  The issue with this card isn't the fact that it relies on a token archetype, it's that any situation in which this card would EVER give you 7 mana in value is a situation in which Bloodlust would almost certainly win you the game outright.

    This is an example of good card design.  Can be used by aggro mech decks to vomit stuff onto the board early.  Can be used by midrange mech decks to enhance their midgame curve.  Can enable mech combos.  Obviously the card has uses, but blizzard didn't make the same mistake they did with mechwarper.  By understatting the minion they are making you pay with early game tempo for an advantage later on.  Great, solid, card.

    The archetype works.  With book of spectres you can get turn 3 giants and win games that way.  Hand decks sometimes have trouble when the opponent goes wide though, this card will, likely, wipe a board of 3 small minions and allow bigger minions to go face rather than trade down.  Could see play.

    Control Warlock stomps dude paladin as long as both defiles aren't in the bottom half of the deck.  Lord Godfrey can even take care of a leveled up board.

    Either change it to 6 mana so that way only Gen pali can use it (I've never seen one so I assume they're weaker), change it to 7 mana so they need to put in more work to maintain a flooded board, or change it to give only +1/+1 so that it becomes mostly defensive. 

     All of these proposed changes nerf the card into the ground.  Level up is only good value and tempo if you hit at least 3 recruits with it.  Quit whining and start killing their dudes.  Tech mossy horror, play control lock, play hand druid and punish with swipe and spreading plague, or just outrace them with face hunter.  Baku Paladin is far from the strongest or the most degenerate deck Hearthstone has ever seen.  I'm sorry, but calling for nerfs instead of leaning how to beat a deck makes you come off like a child.

     Odd paladin is harder to play around than even paladin because it has random card generation and discover effects.  I got wrecked by an odd paladin because I neglected to play around Sunkeeper Tarim which he discovered off Stonehill.  I've also been hit by lightning storm and hex by odd paladin.  Even paladin is more straightforward but a higher power level due to call to arms.  It's worth noting that odd paladin in wild is a whole different beast.  Having access to muster for battle, stand against darkness, steward of darkshire, and quartermaster make it almost unstoppable.

    I'm sorry but your logic is flawed here.  Free from amber is a discover effect while Kalimos is a choose one effect.  Once you have chosen Kalimos' battlecry we should have every reason to expect that battlecry to repeat.  The other option is that Shudderwock may allow you to choose each time.
