Lol. Nope, not true. Rank 10 on ladder atm with the deck, and I actually don't encounter many odd paladins or even shamans. Definitely >50% winrate. You don't need to control the board, just not get steamrolled.
Yeah, Arcane Fletcher instead of Tracking could be nice. Tracking also has negative synergy with Zul'jin (hate seeing a random card picked every time). This would obv. push your deck in a different direction, but Halazzi, the Lynx is a good draw engine with Arcane Fletcher as well.
I've never enjoyed playing decks that are totally reliant on drawing a certain card or cards before others (I'm looking at you Jepetto Joybuzz), but the Jepetto Joybuzz/Malygos flavor of this deck is devastating when you get the combo off correctly. I definitely think that Arcane Fletcher instead of Bloodscalp Strategist could be a good substitution, as discovering a spell isn't as useful as drawing through your deck probably is.
On another note, if you want to try a deck with a more reliable Jepetto Joybuzz/Malygos combo, I'm going to shamelessly point you towards my wild hunter OTK deck. It's topic relevant! :P
Bloodmage Thalnos is really nice for improving deck consistency - he adds + 1 spell damage for every single spell you cast on your OTK turn and that really adds up if you cast several Rapid Fire in a row. He's also really cheap, particularly when discounted by Emperor Thaurissan, so he doesn't make it more difficult to get the combo off in terms of cost. He's also useful for control in the early game if you need some spell damage.
Vereesa Windrunner is pretty essential to the deck: + 2 spell damage for every damaging spell is insane on top of Malygos's + 5. If you have both Malygos and Vereesa Windrunner's weapon in play, you can drop 8 damage Rapid Fires for 1 mana (or zero with discount), as well as 9 damage Arcane Shots and 10 damage Kill Commands (and that's without a beast)!
Yeah, wild definitely has a fair amount of deck diversity - only obvious super common deck is big priest. Gonna take this chance for a shameless plug of my own wild hunter OTK deck which seems to have a pretty high winrate, including against big priest. Haven't seen a single player with anything like this list in wild yet:
you gonna need card draw for this control archetype I guess
I actually haven't needed any card draw in any game I've played... in fact, sometimes I had to be really careful NOT to draw extra cards. Seems to be fine in that respect at least.
Hi! I would like to build such a deck but in standard. Would you recommend it? Is it solid or at least fun?? Please lemme know. By the way it looks awesome
It is difficult to get it to consistently work in standard because if you draw maly before Jepetto, there's no way to get a discount on the spells.
I'd love to get some opinions for ways I can improve this wild hunter Jepetto OTK deck I threw together... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Spellbreaker: Already used in an insane amount of decks, Blizzard might not like seeing 2 in every deck if magnetic really takes off
Saronite Chain Gang: Another neutral that sees a little too much play. I think Electra will make Shudderwock a tier 0 deck, and Saronite will bite the bullet
Test Subject: The test subject OTK might be a little too fast and consistent due to Shadow Visions that Blizzard will be quick to nerf it. Could be a situation like the one where they nerfed Worgen combo when it wasn't even that prevalent
Skaterbot: I just don't see a world where this doesn't enable some form of stupidity.
Myra's Unstable Element: People are focusing on this card in shuffle archetypes, people are just gonna play this in miracle and always have the burst damage to finish off opponents
Interesting. If Spellbreaker becomes a double auto include, I highly doubt it will get nerfed though. If it's that ubiquitous, it's probably because silence mechanics are absolutely necessary to counter magnetic mechs/inner fire priest/some sort of deathrattle madness. If they nerf the card, it just makes a bad situation worse. I would expect them to nerf the cards that cause Spellbreaker to become so common instead, or at least add other silence tools somehow.
Omega Agent: This may be totally wrong, but this card seems like an amazing way for zoo lock to refill the board with threats late game.
Yes, this is totally wrong, because Zoolocks gameplay is not to have games, which are getting to turn 10 and further. And even if you want a back up plan for this cases, just play the DK, which have the chance to summon 1-2 Doomguards, which sometimes win you the game immediately. Omega Agend is just way to weak as a curve play for an offensive deck like Zoolock.
PS: Leave Mechwarper alone! Nerf Glinda but not the core of every mech deck in Wild. :(
Yep, you have me convinced. Thanks for the good reply! That said, I still think the card's power level is pretty insane and may just be an instant pick for arena.

I was considering adding Alexstrasza, but I haven't yet for two reasons:
If you try it out and feel like it improves deck consistency, definitely let us know!

Sent along the list. Let me know how it works for you!

Yep, fixing that now. Jepetto is necessary in a Jepetto deck :P

Why the Archbishop Benedictus? If you want to force a lot of Bombs into your opponent's deck, why would you want to copy their deck?

Boommaster Flark!
Beautiful animation and four golden bombs!
