desasterking posted a message on Reputation of FacehunterPosted in: General Discussionso after i have read all the comments in this thread, i have to say that everyone that have written a comment in this thread is a roleplaying faggot,,, You guys are lying roleplayers acting all like you never have ever played facehunter.
I, for my person, have to say that i am maining control warrior and i prefer a control meta.
But now to the reason why i am writing this comment and the reason for this thread as i have understood so far:
you are all saying that face hunter is a brainless and a deck that dont require a lot of skill. But you guys are wrong in my opinion and i doubt that even half of you can hit ranks above rank 5 or even hit rank 5. You guys have a point to think that it is a brainless deck BUT I think that face hunter need some skill to play and to stand a chance against warrior or handlock. (By the way rank 5 to legend is ONLY filled with control/patron warrior and handlock) but i doubt that you would know that. To get a decent win rate against these decks you have to know the matchups exactly and how to play them AND ESPACIALLY face hunter with a limited amount of draws have to know how to play and how to TRADE. One wrong played card is a insta loose for the face hunter against these decks.
To end my comment i want to say that this a is a good thread to see the opinions of other players about certain decks. and i am shocked that the most of you dont have a reliable opinion about these kinds of things. The most of you guys are only complaining how brainless this deck is instead of being objective about this thread.

Mamizou posted a message on Tinkmaster overspark and Spellslinger comparisonPosted in: Card DiscussionWanted to point out that Spellslinger will not give a card to opponent if they have 10 cards, while the player will.
Tinkmaster is a bit trickier. When it's ability (pre-nerf) was a targetted ability it was a high tier card for dealing with Slyvanas and Ragnaros.

zammE posted a message on New Warlock Card - DemonfusePosted in: Card DiscussionFive ways Demonfuse would be better, or at least interesting to justify its interesting art:
Fine, keep the drawback but give the Warlock the ability to play around it! This way the drawback isn't an instant loss but opens up for options, while it isnt overpowered. A 3/3 minion with the same deathrattle would arguably better, so it should be balanced.
Make anything into a life-draining effect. Might be a bit overpowered, but still an interesting concept.
A reason to put Succubus into your deck! Not that much stronger then Demonfire but different, a lot different.
... Or why not make actual use of this new, funky Inspire mechanic?
Synergy with Sacrificial Pact and Shadowflame would make this card a real possibility for Constructed play!
Anyway, my point is that this concept of the Warlocks "extreme drawback for minor gain" concept never really works for any card that isnt a game sealer such as Doomguard. We never see play from Succubus, Pit Lord or Fel Guard for good reasons. I just think that an expansion like this is a glorious opportunity to complement underused cards to make them actually playable and worthwhile, not just giving us additional cards that would stack up on punch-ourself-in-the-face philosophy.

I've had Ysera for a very long time, it's one of my first legendaries, actually I think it's my first one.
Lately i've seen Ysera run in many priest and warrior decks but I never really see it paying off.
I've played these decks myself but never had the chance to actually play Ysera. When I did have the chance to play her, I usually have quite a few options in my hand and opponent has an empty board and few cards left in hand, and they just concede at that point.
Is Ysera really warranted to be played anymore? Or is she just a flexible slot for sealing the game, where Nozdormu would usually have the same impact, because at that point, they have used their BGH already.

HOLD UP HOLD UP, EVERYBODY HOLD YOUR BREATH, IVE HAD A REVELATION!
So, a while ago, we have had a really overpowered rogue list appear on Tempostorm website.
This rogue list exploited the power of beasts to crush the opponent with the well dreaded prep into concede combo.
This list had a real problem that the prep was useless if you had no motive to concede, as the list does not run any spells other than prep.
With this card taking up a large part of the meta, beast rogues can now include Gang Up to flood their deck with this
EXTREMELY overpowered card.
Be prepared to meet beast rogues ganging up your ram wranglers, you have been warned.

Does this card actually interact with Chromaggus? Because summoning 2 Ragnaros the Firelord, 2 Deathwing, and 2 Grommash Hellscream is kinda dangerous.
Then again, it could give you Big Game Hunter Cruel Taskmaster and Acolyte of Pain.
Or it can not even give you Shadow of Nothing.

Silent Knight
Holy Knight
All Is Calm
All Is Bright
But seriously... it's a rare spellbreaker with a more situational effect for 1 less mana. At the point where demons NEED to be silenced, you may as well run spellbreaker.
When people will put it into the deck/choose it from arena, that is what they will see it as. Warlocks are already put in a permanent spot where hunters will always be favored against you due to life loss mechanics, and inherent greed nature of the class which is so powerful that hunter had become popular to push it out of the meta as the #1 class. This means that you will never see enough warlocks to warrant using this card, and if you do, you may as well play face hunter, you will win more than this card will.
TL:DR; If too many warlocks to warrant this card as good, face hunter will rise to hunt down warlocks, and this card will suddenly again not be worth running. This puts it in a spot where it is never impressive.

Fixed it for you.
I'm getting good at this card generating thing.
Umm, ignore the fact that it can be played on turn 5 and automatically win the game, nobody would ever do that. You obviously play it turn 3 and wait until your next turn.

But the rarity is normallized per pack, rather than # of each per set. Rarity of a legendary in classic is same as rarity of legendary in gvg from what I understand.

The art looks sweet. Too bad I won't get too see it played against me ever.
Golden version must look amazing.
The problem is
(1) if you mulligan into it, it's a boulderfist ogre, which is definitely underappreciated, and has a lot of board presence, but most would prefer to have elven archer early on over it.
(2) if you draw into it MOST of the time, you will have a clear board.
If you get into the third case of actually having a board, this card is amazing especially since it sets up a battle rage for you. This is highly unlikely though. Definitely a pleasant surprise if it does happen though.
This is no flame leviathan, because it doesn't affect your opponent's board state, which is the main reason flame leviathan is ever played.
Now that I think of it more, I always wanted another 6 mana 6/7, boulderfist was the only card with such stats. People really undervalue the body of 6/7. It's playable, it's just not going to win by its presence alone. If you replace Highmane with Boulderfist ogre, MOST of the time, it's marginal noticable difference. This can be played in midrange warrior, it's definitely a very real midrange threat, much like boulderfist ogre. It's just not meta-breaking by itself.
But all of this is irrelevant, the card probably has my favourite art of all cards in hearthstone.

what do you know, history does repeat itself

But is this REALLY better than piloted shredder?
I am not convinced.

So hard to tell.
It is a really signature card so people expect it to be good, and see it played in constructed.
My guess is it will probably not do much in Patron because it's very hard to make a card that fits Patron, even Loatheb, Dr Boom and Grommash have been rejected lately.
I expect really mad control warriors if they won't be able to put this in their decks.
But so many cards fit in control warrior... but not Emperor Thaurissan lately, it's been underperforming.
I think control warriors want this to be a word-for-word tyrian fordring clone. Will this be it? I doubt it.
I wonder what he will say when you face a priest, considering Anduin is his son.
So hard to tell, the possibility space is so large. It could also be unplayable.
