posted a message on Dekkster's #12 Legend Wall Priest Guide

I am having success without him (and the lich king). I added stormwind champion and mass dispel and went with one big winstreak from r14 to r10. No chance yet to test how it goes from there. Oakhearth is pretty slow and I close out games generally around t10 or before.

In that deck everything can become scary. I finished off a warlock with a 28/1 nortshire cleric on t5.

I guess we have to play around that then ;)

Absolutely, but with my statement I meant to say it's not specifically the enforcer you need to worry about ;-)

The deck only works currently because the meta is rather slow. You are not really able to deal with any early pressure.

I have a dragon reno priest deck. The win con is not so much dragons but more burst damage, but the dragons are great to have.

posted a message on The Pepper Thread - Share your good vibes!

Won with wall priest vs control/mind blast priest because I subbed the lich king and oakhearth with stormwind knight and mass dispel. He has 30 hp, I have been (barely) keeping alive due to 4 zilliaxes. He had already cast alex, but couldn't finish.

Then there comes a point I have 3 divine spirits + stormwind + topsy turvy. Feels good to change a deck and be rewarded right away :-)

posted a message on Trump - Wall Priest is Tier 1!!

Removed oakhart and lich king (don't have either, didn't want to craft them) and added stormwind knight and mass dispel. Works great. Stormwind knight is able to do 40 damage from hand at t10 (which has won me games).

posted a message on Discussion: The modern control deck and Mojomaster Zihi

I play zihi in mind blast (control) priest. You actually don't have a lot of cards above 6 mana in control priest so you can still play most. Your mind blasts are 2 mana so you can still deal 15 damage with 6 mana from hand.

Next to this you typically don't play zihi before yyo reach t9 so at that time you have played anduin (if necessary/possible) and/or even alex.

I actually also play chameleos to know better when to play zihi and it also sometimes gives tactical advantages otherwise sometimes

4-0 with priest. Power word death really puts in the work (and otherwise u steal their void or kill them through anduin/vodoo doll. As long as theirt void doesn't survive it's easy. I used this:

    ### Brawl Deck
    # Class: Priest
    # Format: Wild
    #
    # 2x (1) Crystalline Oracle
    # 1x (1) Pint-Size Potion

    # 2x (2) Dead Ringer
    # 2x (2) Plated Beetle
    # 2x (2) Shadow Visions
    # 2x (2) Squashling
    # 2x (3) Shadow Word: Death
    # 1x (3) Voodoo Doll
    # 2x (5) Quartz Elemental
    # 2x (5) Rotten Applebaum
    # 1x (6) Cabal Shadow Priest
    # 2x (6) Coffin Crasher
    # 1x (6) Entomb
    # 2x (6) Shadow Essence
    # 1x (8) Shadowreaper Anduin
    # 2x (9) Obsidian Statue

posted a message on How to spend 1000 gold?
    Quote from iandakar >>

    Arena 100%

     NO!, NO NO!

Player is #($)#0 WEEKS OLD!  Chances are, they aren't netting 4+ wins in arena.  I'm not even sure they have even PLAYED arena yet beyond maybe that free one.

Arena is a great place for free 2 play accounts..AFTER they know enough about the game win about half the time (which results in you getting about 3-4 wins on average in arena)  Once you think you can do that then yes, that gold SHOULD be arena bound.

Right now, they need Classic packs.  They need a foundation of the game as a whole.

     I'll say this:

    1. Get your classic Legendary if you didn't already already find one. It'll show up within the first 10 packs.  Now, unless you alos received an epic, say, in the last 3 packs, open more packs until you get an epic.

    2. Do the same thing for Rastakhan's Rumble, The Boomsday Project, and The Witchwood.  Open until you get a Legendary and an Epic.  Should be within 10 packs or less.

    3. Open up Classic Packs until you feel semi-comfortable with the cheaper decks you can make.  Use the legendaries you got for free+ the ones from the packs to help guide on what decks to make but don't feel you HAVE to use them if you can't seem to get a good deck from them.  Focus on decks that only need a couple of cards crafted.  AVOID dusting cards except for duplicates and goldens unless you've done A LOT of research on the card, and even then think twice.  Dusting non-dupes may be required but the less you dust the better.

The SECOND you have decks you feel ok with, you have a decision:

    1. Open more classic packs, which will be a good idea until you have most of the commons and rares...

    2. Save for the next expansion, which will come around April, and we'll all get VERY hype for...

    3. If you want some extra dust for epics/Legendaries, do that Legendary/epic trick I said on the other three sets: Kobolds/Frozen Throne/Un'Goro.  Those sets are about to rotate out of standard, but you'll either get a very good legendary to use for now then dust later or more dust than you'll get opening other packs.

Personally I'm not too sure about #3 but it IS an option so I'll put it down as a choice.

Also when you feel comfortalbe, start learning about the arena. It IS the best place to use your gold.. once you stop being horrible at it. So the sooner you learn how to play there reasonably (again a 4+ win rate on average) then your gold will go MUCH farther there than in buying packs of the newest set.

Beyond that, just don't dust too many things, and be very *****VVEERRRRYYYY***** careful about your dust. .Dust is how you get your high rarity cards, so it's your key to those more expensive decks.  be VERY careful in how you use it.

     Follow his advice, it's good

Around 8k. That gets enough packs/dust to craft what I want mostly.
