When I first started playing, the opponent saying well played when they won didn't bother me. Many games later I realized that the great majority of players will say well played only if they win, and say nothing if they lose. This makes it seem more condescending to me, and the opposite of what I'd consider good manners. It bothers me even more if they say it without knowing they they have lethal. Now if someone says well played when they are about to win, I just say thank you. For that once in a while well played that my opponent does when they lose, I well played back.
I've recently reached rank 8 and have actually been seeing more hunters the higher up in rank I go. I'd say at least half are hunters, with the rest being mostly warlock and control warrior.
So far, I made it to rank 10 (my previous highest rank being 11) and then went on a losing streak back to the beginning of rank 12. I thought that I'd get farther with it. I don't feel like I'm making a lot of mistakes, just an occasional one. I only own the one flame imp. I wonder if not having the second one is holding me back, or is it something else?
Thanks for the replies. I was thinking disenchant, too. It's just hard to part with shinies. Of course Patient Assassin wouldn't even be seen once he's played.
I nearly have enough dust to craft my first legendary now (although I have found a couple in packs and have all the Naxx ones). I've opened golden Hungry Crab and golden Patient Assassin from packs. Do you think these cards will ever be worth playing, or should I disenchant them?
I don't think they will. That's Magic's style; not the style of this game. It would also make the turns a lot slower to have to add that as an option every time your opponent does anything.
Okay, thanks for the feedback. Maybe playing the Northshire Cleric anyway would have been the best thing. I just knew by doing this I'd be losing a card and she'd be losing nothing but the chance to play something at turn 2, when maybe she didn't even have a turn 2 play anyway. Turns out she had a nasty one, though.
I just played an arena match against a mage. I was playing as a priest, and had a Northshire Cleric in my hand, which I was hoping to play as my turn 1. The mage went first, and played a Zombie Chow. I realized that if I played the cleric, the mage would kill it by attacking with a zombie chow and then pinging the cleric, so I decided not to play it, and played nothing instead. Turn 2 came, and the mage played a Faerie Dragon. At this point I felt pretty stuck, because the mage could kill anything I brought out that had four or less health with the faerie dragon and a ping. What is the bet way to deal with this situation? Do I bring minions out anyway, knowing that I'll be getting a bad trade? Or do I wait until I have something big enough to bring out that won't be killed easily? I don't remember all of what I had in my hand, but I know I had a Dark Cultist and a Gurubashi Berserker.
It also would be good against people with bad internet. I've played Hearthstone in a hotel a lot, and it often lags and DCs, so for my own reasons I hope they don't implement something else like it.
Yeah, it does work the opposite way too. If Ragnaros is brought out after KT, KT's effect will go off first and then Ragnaros, so any minion that Ragnaros kills won't be revived by KT. It kind of makes sense, but it seems better if KT always revived other minions that Ragnaros destroyed, but not himself.
@Mister_Smith Yeah I do tend to like the Soulfires better than the Shadow Bolts, especially because they can be used as finishers. Of course there's always the risk of discarding one to another, or discarding something else I really don't want to discard that has to be evaluated when I play it.
@Shifther: I do use whatever Soulfires and Shadow Bolts I draw most of the time. I have thought about using Undertaker, but I know I don't have as many deathrattle minions in my deck as most people that add him. My deathrattle minions are 2 haunted creepers, 2 eggs, 2 voidcallers, and a sludge belcher. You think that's enough to add him in instead of the voidwalkers or something? The main reason I have the Deathlord on there is because I feel like in order to run Kel'Thuzard, I need at least a couple of big walls. So I have him and the Belcher. I feel like if I got rid of the Deathlord, I'd probably also need to get rid of Kel'Thuzad. I know he's not popular in most decklists I see, but he's a lot of fun and when he works, he really works :)
Edit: I think maybe I'll try switching out Dark Iron Dwarf for Doomguard for now.
I'm pretty new to the game. I've been enjoying playing all classes in ranked, and make decks using whatever I happen to open from packs/arena, and what I've earned from completing Naxx. This means all my decks have been midrange/tempo. Today I got my first Doomguard, and I want to put it in my deck. I'm trying to figure out if I should still have two copies each of Soulfire and Shadow Bolt in my deck. Here's my current deck, without the new Doomguard:

Okay, thanks for your replies. I may have some tough calls to make if I just keep getting weapons. I've never had so many offered in an arena before.

So far I have 2 Fiery War Axe, 1 Death's Bite, 1 Arcanite Reaper, and 1 Arathi Weaponsmith, and I'm only on my 16th pick! On this pick I have to decide if I want another Death's Bite, or I could choose a Jungle Panther or Battle Rage instead. What would you pick?

I just started playing a zoolock deck yesterday with the following composition:
