Let's play this out. You woke up this morning and immediately thought, "I'm gonna make a new alt account so I can post the same tired complaint which gets brought up on a weekly basis". What are you trying to accomplish?

Pherosizm posted a message on The Masquerade Ball Event BundlesPosted in: NewsI get that the Uther skin is lazy and people hate it, but isn't this still a good value for packs? Plus a guaranteed legendary.
Like, back when they released Aranna, I wasn't really that into DH, but I did enjoy the packs you got in that bundle.
Granted, Aranna was a completely fleshed out new hero with effects and emotes... so it does make this one feel lazier by comparison.

arkaram posted a message on The Masquerade Ball Event BundlesPosted in: NewsI pretty much have all the cards and I can play competitive for all classes in both Standard and Wild. I purchase all their bundles and do the preordering as a support to the artists and blizzard for making and continuing to support my favorite game. I ve been with HS from the very start. This is what I pay for

They’d probably wish you good luck in getting invited to another of their events, and your chosen career would likely be severely restricted.

It's also worthwhile observing that Firebat's claim that the event "started an hour early" is dishonest - the check-in time was the check-in time. He chose to set his alarm well after the check-in time, knowing in advance he would be disqualified if matches began early. He took the risk, accepting the consequences, then bitched about it when it bit him on the ass, instead of apologising for wasting nearly an hour of everyone's time. Blizzard did more than their rules suggested they should have in order to accommodate him.
As to your point - Blizzard pays the players to play their games. Firebat didn't show up, so he doesn't get paid. They don't "collect" anything, though I'm sure they would appreciate any "good luck" you choose to send them . . .

I disagree, a card pack should be about random cards. You want dust then disenchant cards and get dust. Don't complain about randomness. HS should be random.

icy133_ posted a message on Ben Lee Talks About The Battle Pass And A Progression SystemPosted in: NewsAre you all reading the same post that I am? The battle pass has been confirmed to be “purely cosmetic” so fucking stop whining and READ god damn. Also to whoever said they’re taking away their gold, you pretty much are hopeless, I would suggest reading the article but you clearly can’t.

Don’t remember the last time I did a 50g quest, think you are just unlucky buddy

In most games the achievement IS the purpose, and I don’t see why it would be different here.
I expect the system will be very akin to that in WoW. Each achievement gives some points that serve no other purpose than to compare with others and give a sense of progress. Maybe very few cosmetic rewards sprinkled in there, but not the norm. To me, that’s perfectly okay. I like having something to work towards when playing. I remember when I first got 500 wins with all heroes, my playtime decreased a lot, only to resurge when they introduced the 1000 win portraits. Same with achievements, would give me more incentive to play, even without rewards, just for the sense of completion.

Just finished a 12 win run with regular que times, think yours may have bugged ;)

How would you know though? Not sure who’s alt you are, but in the less than a week you have been a member, it has been 42 posts of pure negativity, you need a very odd perspective to call any of that constructive. And what’s more, what drives you to head into a thread where we are trying to spread some positivity, when your only goal is to be the opposite? Clearly this thread is not for you.
But to get the thread back on track:
Finally got 12 wins in arena with DH! It was the last class I was missing, feels great! Now to start working on Duels 12 wins and golden portraits. So hard to choose with so many great game modes!

To each his own :)
I was not looking for a tournament mode or a chess-like mode in perfect balance. I was looking for a fun and casual mode of Hearthstone! Hearthstone meaning some whacky outcomes, a dash of randomness to keep it fresh every time and yea, the highrolls.
But like I said, to each his own. I’m also the kind of player who loves games with Yoggbox - no matter which player plays it! To me it’s just a lot of fun, and I don’t play hearthstone for ranking or rewards, I play to be entertained and have fun. And for this, Duels is a great success in my book.

Not at all! Duels is so much fun and I can’t wait for the rest of the features.
I can keep playin this game mode and still be taken by surprise. The vast combination of treasures/class/decks are fantastic, and throwing in 2 more parameters to those combinations on release will be bonkers.
I honestly believe people who think the mode is not varied with lots of combinations has not played Duels a lot (if at all), or keeps being defeated very early before deck packs and treasure change too much.

I am getting more and more stoked for this game mode every day.
Even with how limited this early access is, there are so many combinations of fun decks and play styles to experiment with. I can’t wait for more hero powers and starter kits to be released, it will be a plethora of fun to explore!
People complain about the entry cost for the reward path, but I don’t see why, I’m not even sure I will play the reward mode for a long time, I am having a blast in the casual mode and don’t need rewards as the reason to play it.
2
Why are you so hell bent on getting rewards?
I’m having a ton of fun playing the casual version, and I don’t see that changing on release.
I play this mode to be entertained, and it is doing that very well!

Well if it is, people sure seem to have forgotten that fact. Last 35 games I have only met 2 DH. EU legend ladder
