The legendary limit is already very kind of Blizzard, and it's thematically appropriate. An epic limit would severely cut into their funds, and at that point, why not have a rare limit and a common limit, too.

Agreed the legendary limit was kind, but as originally stated there would be no loss of funds or a minimal loss from setting an epic limit as well. Epics only make up around four percent of all cards received from packs as compared to commons at 74 percent and rares around 22 percent, so the comparison is not adequate. MTG Arena has done a similar thing with Rares and Mythic Rares on top of already giving people wild cards to spend when getting duplicates.

Spot on. I dont understand why people dont get it.

     I assume this is trolling.

I understand the frustration. After you open packs maybe reply here with your results with epics so we can collect data in this thread. Cheers!

For those who have opened packs at Fireside Gatherings and for those who will open when the expansion comes out I am curious as to your experience getting epics? I got something like 6 Muckmorphers out of 29 epics and I think another 5 of that Priest deathrattle minion. Watching some of the streamers open their packs I saw similar results where they would get 5 or 6 of the same epic (usually a trash one). Does anyone else have this experience where they get several of one epic during the openings? This could very well be a small sample size issue, but this has happened to me during the last few expansions as well.

There is already a substantial Reddit thread about making it so you can't get duplicate epics after the first two of a card, which I think is reasonable, since the return on them is poor in terms of dust when compared with their cost. Also it seems someone broke it down and people would still have to purchase the same amount of packs to get all the legendaries so this wouldn't cut into Blizzard's profits in any substantial way. I'm also curious to hear people's thoughts on setting an epic limit.

Beat a Control Warrior with this deck. At the end they had -104 health and I was up to full health and 147 armor. Niiiiiice.

You can't double mind blast on the same turn as Talanji. Double mind blast would take 12 mana.

posted a message on Cards you thought were totally OP, but..

As far as Standard goes there were posts here everyday about how the Dreampetal Florist, Juicy Psychmelon, Flobbidinous Floop package was going to break the game with Malygos and Togwaggle Druid. Lo and behold aggro decks reigned supreme... again.

I didn't face that many Even Shamans, but Spreading Plague was a lifesaver. I got smashed by one when I drew a crap hand and got lucky with my Spreading Plagues in the other matchups. They can't disrupt the combo so I rush it out ASAP. Don't have any advice other than that, sorry.

Started off at rank 25 on the 1st. Have made it to rank 10, 4 stars as of yesterday afternoon with Star Aligner Druid. For some reason got stuck around 14-15 with 55% win rate, but then ripped off a big win streak to get to 10. Overall 72% win rate with SA Druid. Only problems so far have been Tempo Mages and aggro decks. Also Renolock and various versions of deathrattle Priest running Demonic Project or Dirty Rat can be a problem.

posted a message on So... no counter to Shudderwock ? are you okay with this ?

Shudderwock Shaman only has ~54% winrate as per Hearthpwn. It isn't as large an issue as, say, Odd Paladin, which has an exaggerated win percentage (sometimes <60%). Granted, as soon as I know someone is playing SW Shaman I start cursing, but it the frustration of losing to SW Shaman is not directly related to an exaggerated winrate. I'll be happy to never hear Shudderwock's battlecry ever again, but it doesn't seem to need a direct counter.
