From what i've heard from Streamers, Devs did not make forbidden cards for each class, which is disappointing.

Well on the bright side, that leaves spots for more creative cards. :D
honestly this expansion been pretty interesting so far, so over all I've been pretty happy with the uniqueness of the cards thus far.

Has anyone gotten word on whether or not Yogg'Saron will trigger overload if he casts shaman spells?

As far as I can tell the game considers  Yogg is casting spell for you, So if it makes you lose a mana crystal or discard a card it will, as for overload you maybe works the same way.  Also if discovers a card and will pick the card for you.

Ah that's interesting. Guess we wont know about overload till it releases.

Gang UpNaturalize, and Entomb, Force of Nature and Flamestrike are the best things you can hope to get from him

     Why Naturalize? Wouldn't any removal be fine why would you want to draw your opponent cards. (unless fatiguing}
because you're going to be playing him within like 3-5 draws before fatigue and he's very likely to draw you cards, so you become really weak to fatigue. I think the average is like draw 3 cards lol
That's pretty interesting really. Hmm. Crazy that someone made that simulator so fast, but it makes sense theres only so many spells.

Perhaps post your opinion in the already existing 48 page thread discussing this. You aren't a special snowflake. Yyou don't need your own thread to voice your opinion.

He may not be a snowflake, but you're definitely coming off as a major a$$.
    Snowflakes > Major A$$'s
Well many people make topics about cards even new ones that just came out, mainly posting like this in that topic would last all of 1 page, and no one would ever even stop to read about it, many people who talk in announcement topics don't read what people are saying about the card, but mainly just say something based on what they see the card as them self. I honestly wanted to have more of a conversation about the card, not just random people shouting about hating or loving it based on seeing it for 5 secs. I'm not really trying to offend anyone I just wanted to see if people wanted to have a more flushed out chat about the card. You know like humans? No rage monsters.

There seems to be allot of mixed feelings about this card. So after giving it allot of thought at work today I figured I'd make an "interesting" topic to talk about the card in a bit more detail. More then just yelling its GOOD! Or its TRASH! in its announcement topic. I wanted to give it a more detailed break down, and even hear what other people think afterwords.

Firstly allot of people feel this card is garbage in constructed and will only see light in gimmicky decks. I don't really agree. If we look at high end hearthstone players, and games for things like tourneys or Legendary players (top 100s)  There is a point in a game, where a good player will figure out something, they are about to lose next turn, and there is nothing they can do to win. This tends to happen allot in control matches that last into fatigue, or something time even in midrange matches. At some point you just know, that you are dead.

The interesting part of Yogg-Saron, is that if he is played at the right time he isn't a gamble. He has 1 of 4 out comes when he is played. Note you would only ever use Him if you are about to lose the game. 1: You lose the game instantly by killing your self which doesn't mater since you where about to die anyway. 2: You kill your opponent and win. 3: You both die and the game ends in a tie. 4: somehow the rng swings in your favor or only just good effects for both you and your opponent and it stabilizes you for future turns giving you a chance in the game again.

1 Dead card in your hand all game isn't that bad in some classes, but it being powerful enough to change your fate in a game you are clearly going to lose is truly insane. There are many times in games where you will just get out valued by someone, to the point where they just have a clear "They are going to win" regardless what is left in your deck.

People who think this card is bad don't understand how close some games in tourneys can be, and how this 1 card basically flips the table. This may be one of the greatest and most craziest cards blizz has ever made.  At least that's how I see it. I could be wrong and no one will ever play it, but I think the points I made for the card make sense.

This isn't a card used to win you the game like most cards, this a card used as a final desperate Hope (also maybe why he is called Hope's end) that you will survive, that you can maybe win. In a lore sense its like you want to win, and the old god is whispering to you to play it, to borrow its power so that you might wins. And that deal may not always turn out well for you haha. I think the card is brilliant.  Behold! Not RNGuses! But The god Of RNG himself!

Well Tell me what you think?

Just having patrons in your deck might be a good tech counter against C'thun decks, if they rampage the meta.  Patron works better in some classes for sure, but If those decks are everywhere, and you can tell when you fighting them Then you know when to save them against C'thun decks, and when to use them at other times when fighting Non C'thun decks, Patrons might just be the ultimate tech card to fend off the OTK Fest the decks might

It depends if most of your deathrattle minions had taunt. Then it does have a very good effect to suddenly have 6 taunt minions with other effects late game. As just an example also, Varian has allot more RNG since you never know what cards your going to draw into with N'zoth you can set up exactly what you want him to bring out, he has allot more potential for solid Planed moves and deck set ups for deck building. Where Varian does not.

This card could be really good for a control style shammy, I mean think about it, if your losing to agro, and you play this turn 8, you could board clear, heal to full and still have a body. Its like Reno Jackson but more combo-ie. I think this might see some play.
