Level of Experience: A few years ago I would have considered myself an advanced player, but now I'd say I'm intermediate or worse on ladder because I pretty much exclusively play arena atm. (I hit legend one time only with a big spell mage running the DK, but haven't since.)
Preferred Heroes: I have the most wins with Mage, Hunter, and Warlock, but I honestly enjoy playing any class. I wasn't playing the game at the time DH was released so I have yet to fully enjoy Illidan.
I’m Looking For: Someone to occasionally play some friendly challenges with, spectate, or just chat with from time to time.
Tell us something about you: I've been playing Hearthstone since the release of the League of Explorers. It's definitely one of my favorite games of all time, however I grew tired of the game after playing daily for ages and stopped playing for over a year. I stopped shortly after Saviors of Uldum released, but I have recently returned to the game, and have been enjoying Wild and Arena, with the occasional Battlegrounds or Classic game. I haven't touched Standard in ages simply because I hate the idea of some of my cards being obsolete, but I'm looking to return to it soon once I have a more expansive collection. I've spent plenty of money on the game over the years, I wouldn't consider myself a whale or anything, but I used to preorder the expansions often. Nowadays I choose not to preorder expansions since I am enjoying arena the most, and honestly, the battlepass is pretty generous if you play often. PS: Dane is my favorite HS youtuber :)

Solid card in arena, absolute powercreep to Rabid Worgen.

The reward shouldn't make your hero power cost 0, it should be 1, the designers definitely don't play test this nonsense lmao.

Well Blizzard made this card much more uncommon in arena as well as many other nutty class cards, tipping the scales regarding winrates. The highest winrate classes were - Druid, Warrior, Demon Hunter - in order of wr. Now the lowest winrate classes are - Druid, Warrior, Rogue, DH, from worst wr to best. I definitely think it was a necessary move, they made the worst classes better and the best classes worse, but I think they may have overdone it a bit lol, it seems that they killed the best classes.

Overall I'm satisfied with it because instead of losing to this monster of a card (Illidari) I lose fair and square (most of the time, sometimes I lose to stuff like Ysera.) I'm happy with the current arena :) The only card that I think is kind of a problem is Battleground Battlemaster, I have two of them in my current deck and my gosh, the card is disgusting. Such a win-more card, most of the time it just wins you the game on the spot, and even when it doesn't it's still solid. Go to the card's page if you wanna see what my opinion is on it hehe.

Thanks, beat it on the third try :) These decks are really helpful for players like me who weren't around at the time of this adventure's release. I stopped playing for an entire year so I've been having a lot of trouble beating these.

Arena meta rn, this card reads: 2 mana, add two legendary dragons to your hand/guarantee yourself late game.

So idk about this card's performance in standard or wild because I don't play either frequently atm—I imagine in wild it's waaaay to slow—but in arena...this card is a monster, akin to Arbor Up currently.

So we all know Burly Shovelfist is a neutral card so Illidari Inquisitor is expected to be better than it because it is a class card. However, when you compare Illidari Inquisitor to King Krush you can see how poorly designed this card really is. I've lost countless games now in the new United in Stormwind arena meta to Illidari....

Demon hunters simply almost never have to play the card on turn eight, so they opt to wait until turn nine. This monster of a card then removes a minion, goes face for eight, plus hero power for nine, and then the best part is if you can't remove it you just lose the game on the spot.

The only argument I have in the card's favor versus arbor up is that it comes into play much later in the game.  Arbor up is another problem card, arguably worse than Illidari because when played on turn 5 on an empty board the card is already solid, but when you play it on a board with two or more minions, most of the time you just win the game on the spot. 

Since it comes into play later on in the game there are a few ways to prevent the DH from winning the game on the spot such as being ahead on the board or having drafted a good deck with decent removal, otherwise you just lose, 24 damage + 2 from hero power over two turns. Sigh, I've rambled on enough, back to my current arena run lol. You can taste the salt emanating from this post can't you, but try giving me a reason as to why this is fair in arena.
