Still not balanced. KT has an average card cost of 4-5 so you spend turns waiting for things to do, while Rafaam is loaded with low cost removal so by the time you actually land a creature he can probably remove it. If you're winning as KT then it's almost assuredly because the Rafaam player has just has some horrible draw/RNG/luck.
I just had a game where every single one of my creatures was destroyed up until the 5th or 6th turn, by then he had such large board advantage I couldn't keep up, especially since he completed his staff.
They need to have KT start at 3-4 crystals or give him more board control/wipes.
Game 2: KT again, Rafaam started with some bad draws so I thought I had a chance. Then he landed Lady Naz'jataar which reset my board, and then landed Antonidas. But since I had no hard removal and he now kept getting fireballs I of course couldn't keep anything on the board, so game over.
Game 3: Got Rafaam, it didn't go well for the KT player at all (see image). They really need to balance this thing. Got my pack I'm done
Got my first legendary from the expansion, and first one in awhile...it was Prince Taldarim. I don't DE legendaries often since I have bad luck getting them (and take forever to farm dust), but he's probably not going to last long.
Bad agaunst Priest (Potion of Madness, Let me change your mind...) but powerful against many other deck because it is perfect against AOEs, Primordial Drake, Doomsayer HunterDK and so on
Exactly this. Bad against priests, otherwise it will force other decks to use a silence on it (freeing up any other minions you have in your deck from being targeted). At the very least it will likely buy you some time against AoE/get you a few hits in while they figure out a way to handle it/the 8/8 that will drop.
Decided to finally push past rank 20 for the first time since I had a good deck (taunt warrior) that had been on a win streak. Make it to 19, then hit a 3 game losing streak and am back down to 20.
The worst was the last game against a priest. They get Medivh out, and proceeds to summon The Boogeymonster, Mayor Noggenfogger, and N'zoth from his 3 casts. Also, apparently Noggenfogger isn't really random because, after he mind controlled my Curator, all of his attacks hit me in the face. So unlike some of those "targets chosen at random" cards, he doesn't seem to make them choose their own creatures/themselves.
Just played an arena match where this guy had a counter to every single fucking card I played.
I play a taunt? They had polymorph.
I play a secret? They have eater of secrets.
I play a Cat Trick? Well suddenly this mage doesn't have any spells to cast until I'm dead.
He has a full board? Well guess who hasn't drawn their board clear.
Also, how is it everyone else seems to get a bunch of taunt cards and legendaries but I'm lucky if I end up with a couple of epics and 2 taunt minions?
I want to see someone with Soulpriest out have this cast on their face by Yogg/Yogg-brawl/etc. Just the hilarity of taking 10 to the face because of your Soulpriest would be priceless.
How about Astral with one Innervate and one Astral Communion and the rest contains of powerful immediate impact minions, like Deathwing, Rag, Dr.Boom etc...i mean you dont run the risk of drawing Innervate or Astral, since you have 3 choices to make and the chance to draw Astral and Innervate at start is absurdly high. Dont know for certain though, could be wrong.
Just tried this and it worked fairly well (though I should have put some bigger bombs in my deck).
Turn 1 Astral Communion
Turn 2 Ragnaros
Game was over by Turn 6 (drew a Jade Idol, a Ysera that got polymorphed, and a Starfall that wiped the mages Mirror Images).
I've opened two, and they're also some of the few legendaries I've opened in boosters (for how long I've been playing/how many packs I've opened my legendary rate is awful).
Ragnaros (score! it's also my only copy of him) and Varian, who I DE'd in order to craft Bloodmage.
I can definitely see how this would be an interesting take, but at the same time I could also see how it would just develop the same problems that Sliver decks had in MTG which led to them only affecting your own Slivers instead of all of them.
I did this Kel'Thuzad and Ragnaros. Outside of the one match against a deathrattle mage that got Rivendare and Sylvannas onto the board, I have absolutely destroyed with it. My record is 3 Thaddius's out at once, my opponent conceded the game.

That or I just had some really awful RNG.

God I hate arena.

Felt bad for my opponent.
I played rogue (Grobbulus), they played Priest (Gothik the Harvester). Giving me minions isn't so bad when I have a 1 damage AoE every turn.

But how do N'zoth decks fair in this brawl?
