I am honestly excited to try them all out. Regardless of rewards, it simply sounds like a really fun way to play. I had to pick one, so I picked Mage. But I will probably end up trying them all out very fast after the expansion is released

Pretty sure big rogue will rise to be the supreme deck for months to come, followed by burn druid.

Had a few hunter quests today so I thought I'd complete them in Tavern Brawl ... most fun I've had in a while.
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck Minion (7)
- 1x Sir Finley Mrrgglton
- 1x Abusive Sergeant
- 1x Shieldbearer
- 1x Arcane Anomaly
- 1x Fire Fly
- 1x Webspinner
- 1x Tundra Rhino
Ability (3)
- 1x The Marsh Queen
- 1x Deadly Shot
- 1x Hunter's Mark
Priest and other strategies that ramp up super quick will beat it, but a deck built around The Marsh Queen is a lot of fun. Winning over half of the Brawls I've played and except against a Priest if I had a taunt card come up I would have won more. Any easy ways to improve upon this? So much fun after turn 6 with the quest finished as with 15 raptors in your deck they are almost guaranteed to be an option for every draw.

You are talking about Cabalist's Tome ? No, it is not OP by any means. It is random, and while it is true that getting 2 more ice blocks is really good in a deck like quest mage, getting 2 times Arcane Explosion is not. It is a 5 mana card that has the chance of providing you with value. 5 mana for drawing 3 cards is standard in hearthstone (see Thistle Tea , Nourish or Devour Mind ). But random cards are generally worse than cards from your deck. So you have a 5 mana tempo loss for a questionable value gain (with the upside that you don't get closer to fatigue which is only relevant in very few games).
On average, this is not a good card in a minion based deck in my opinion. It has its place in certain decks (mostly in Quest mage), but beside that, it is not a strong card.

Avianna - For the rest of the game, your minions have 1 Health, 1 Attack and cost 1.
So you can still combo burst, but unless you can pull off a serious amount of damage, those little weenies are getting toasted next turn.
Means Loatheb doesnt prevent AoE as much, and you're not able to fill a board of stupid sized minions.
Problem solved.

I lost a game, and it was ok, because I know I made mistakes, I know which oned and for once it wasn't just decided by the matchmaking.
So for once I'm happy I lost because I learnt way more than in a brainless win.

Quote from Chocobrownies79 >>Impressive. I personally love the idea of spells that can be used on both minions (inner fire sees limited use in this regard, demolishes Magma Ragers) I could totally see myself using both of these in all kinds of decks.
10/10, would hire as a replacement to team 5
Off topic, but you just reminded me of the one time I used Inner Fire on an enemy 3/2 Voidlord just so I can move it to my side with Potion of Madness, this was back when I started (Kobolds), so I felt like a freaking genius hahaha.

Better give Hearthstone something to do so it does not get bored!

Quote from Rise_Before_Dawn>>It's better to get a better life and donate the money, because 1 working hour gets you more money to buy packs then 1 hour of grind. Get help, be strong.
Never EVER **EVER** work on a game in order to have fun. Work at a job to have fun later. Work in a game when you enjoy the grind, when the grind, to you, is fun.
But if you are playing a game and you are not having fun in some form RIGHT there there is something wrong and you need to STOP what you are doing and reevaluate your situation.
Myself I have many things that I can do when I'm not busy. I can play Hearthstone, Fire Emblem: Heroes, or MTG Arena. I have other smaller games I can get into as well if I choose to. I can watch videos on youtube, listen to music, or watch one of the many shows and anime I have on that neverending "watch someday" list. I bet you are similar.
And if you are similar, if you are not doing something that is important to you, such as a job, a career, education, training, meeting with others, caring for your household, excersizing ext, and you aren't doing something enjoyable or relaxing like a game you are having fun with or a video you enjoy or music or going out or reading or resting....
If you are doing NONE of those things and are doing something you aren't enjoying in a way you enjoy it that's NOT important.. stop. just STOP.
This is actually why I never care about my rank. Focusing on ranking up is not FUN for me. It's not earning me money or making me healthy or forming a social connection and it's not fun or relaxing or enjoyable. That it can get me more cards is worthless then. Why work in a game for fun when I can just go play a game that is fun now?
Hearthstone is fun, but only when I'm playing decks I want to play. I don't care if they are homebrewed or netdecked so long as I find them interesting. I like tweaking decks to try to improve them and get bored when it becomes clear how good the deck can be (whether good or bad). I don't care if my opponent plays the same decks over and over so long as I can change up how I face them.
If I open the game and realize that I'm not interested in playing, I'll shut it down. Even if it means not switching a 50 gold quest. Even if it means missing a quest since I already have 3. If I honestly cannot 'keep up' with the amount of play I want to put in then the game isn't worth 'keeping up' and it's time to move on.
The money I spent and time I spent was for the enjoyment I had in the past. If I leave today that money and time wasn't wasted as I enjoyed the 4 years I spent here so far. If I didn't then I BETTER stop playing because when you are wasting time you STOP wasting it.
There are situations where you need to struggle and push through bad times, when you have to put up extra effort and struggle when you'd rather not bother. Your hobby is NEVER one of those times. Pros that do so in games like this aren't playing a Hobby, they are working a job (literally: they are making a living doing it). If Hearthstone is going to be your JOB or your CAREER then yes push hard, fight through the boredom and salt and play anyway because it's Important to you (yes, a 'children's card game' can be an Important Career for you. Welcome to the real world where entertaining others with something you can do well is valued enough to pay the bills).
If this is not you then it's a Hobby, so stop. just STOP. Shut this page down. Shut the game down. Go back to the home screen or desktop. Click on the icon that you find FUN. If none of them, shut the thing down and go do something you enjoy.
If that = nothing, GET HELP.
If you know what you'd rather do (or Should be doing) and you can't stop doing what's not fun or important, because you feel you 'have to', GET HELP NOW! I'm not being trolly. I'm serious. It's a problem. You can't fix it yourself. GET HELP NOW!
Otherwise, just stop and enjoy what you are doing whether that's Hearthstone at Legend, Hearthstone at rank 20 meming it up, or in another game or with the computer/phone off. But go do it.

This appears to be a great idea and I am glad the OP took the initiative to set this up. I have both ladder and non ladder decks so I would be interested in this.
Is this for Wild or Standard or both?

Click on the button to hide or unhide popcard elements.

Not necessarily, but if you play only standard there's nothing wrong with that. All are welcome here (except for netdecks)

I play something similar but as shaman in wild with the wock. Throw in some healbots, coldlights, brann, baleful bankers, the darkness (MEMES), and stall/clears and you have yourself a pretty dang good, if slow, deck

i am impressed, sir. Well done.

With all due respect, OP, the baku nerf would make their decks literally unplayable. Who in their right mind would ever use 3 mana gain 4 armor or 3 mana gain a 2/2 weapon over playing cards of that cost? Especially considering that the 3-drop slot is an incredibly valuable slot for Baku decks. Having built Baku decks of nearly every class, I want to pose a few questions.
What's a t2 2/2 weapon w/o hench-clan thug on 3? What's a t2 gain 4 armor without a shield block/stonehill defender to follow it up?
The whole point of the even-odd mechanic, what makes it work, is that the hero power fills in the gaps. When you have overlap between the hero power and the cards, your curve is thrown off. Making the Baku hero power cost 3 would leave Baku decks with very little options but to pass their T2 (or coin hero power/card).
Rather, I feel that the Baku hero powers should/could either be reworked. The hero powers originally were created (in my opinion) to create a lategame overall power boost at the cost of a 5 mana 6/3. They worked well in this regard, some better than others. However, giving the decks this power boost from the beginning has obviously caused problems. The only real way to solve this problem now while keeping the archetypes intact is to either: rework the hero powers, or provide enough strong/synergizing cards of different types (odd/even) to create decks that can compete at a high level with the odd/even decks of its kind. It should be a deckbuilding choice, not a forced archetype. In my opinion, it should be a conscious choice, and a tough one, whether to build a certain archetype using even cards, odd cards, or both.
Just my thoughts.
1
Maybe "Draw 3 cards costing over 5 from your deck"
Would require a more deck-restricting build but could still be feasible
2
Why run firefly when you could run Counterfeit Coin for cycle, buffs on edwin and questing, and to avoid mill?
Also, why run 2 questing adventurers and no conceal?
Just some immediate thoughts I had while looking at this deck. If they work well for you then let me know how; currently tinkering with my own miracle build.
Totally forgot about Tomb Pillager in mine though *facepalm*

Pulled the darkness, Voidlord, and psychic scream from 1 pack. Feelsgoodman

I mean I play topsy priest vs people all the time and I can actually pull off the combo. Would that be considered meme-y enough? Idk
In my opinion it's a matter of intent. I played vs someone (not dropping names) who ran a treant/token druid that kinda steamrolled me. Being honest it felt like a competitive deck. But it wasn't a competitive list at all, and they had an endgame that was kinda hilarious. Astral tiger +ixilid to hopefully stay out of fatigue.
Anyway, just use your best judgement. If it does something unconventional (even warrior, odd priest, menagerie pala, etc.) I would consider it meme-y enough. If your deck archetype is on the ladder all the time, don't bring it.
please.

I use it in my midrange mech shaman deck with tanglefur mystic, elise, jeweled scarab, n'zoth, giggling, and enhance-o-mechano to generate lategame value

Not sure if I've advertised this here already or not but the casual play network is growing. Come and add your battletag and add people who love to play fun decks for fun!

Wait, salt
uhhh
Was playing my ShudderMechN'zoth deck the other day vs quest warrior. Drop N'zoth on empty board, get a board full of mechs. He trades badly, drops rag and hero powers.
Both snipe face.
Perfect lethal.
