Try Arcane Tracker for Mobile if you haven't already. I tracks your cards played, opponents played, and sends all games to HSreplay. also hides very well so you can see your full screen. It's awesome.Cool, I haven't heard of that i will check it out. Thanks!Just remembered it's only for android! should have mentioned that before... Also I think I responded to the wrong comment! -

Moop547 posted a message on Year of the Mammoth is AWESOME!Posted in: General DiscussionSo guys, I've been a huge HS fan since launch, but in the past couple of months (since karazhan and after the first 2 days of MSG), I hated the game and didn't even play from august-october and didn't play in the past month and a half. Why did I hate it? Well, the problem was that you would go against the same 5 decks repeatedly. Literally less than a 5% chance of going vs something interesting IN ANY RANK. You go against tier 1 decks past rank 20 for god's sake. Back in BRM, you'd go vs patron warrior like 1/3 games and a face hunter like 1/5 games, but I didn't mind that so much simply because the entire meta was revolved around those 2 decks and you could tech any deck to have outs vs those and you were good to go. The problem with the game now is that there are now like 5 decks that all counter each other and there's only 3 decks that are viable in any matchup and can actually play out a game in a bad matchup: reno warlock, dragon priest, and midranged shaman. Everything other than that gets rock-paper-scizzored out. The meta is in such horrendous shape right now that it's not even worth logging on to do quests.
There is still hope though because I read about the year of the mammoth and I believe it will actually be really good! I read the comments and most people had extremely negative reactions to the announcements, but fret not my friends. When i first read the top, I was like big deal, I knew they were rotating out stuff, and I closed the article. I went back to double check it again though and I didnt notice you could scroll down, and the first thing I saw was the cards they were removing. Again, usually when they nerf cards, they nerf solely aggro cards, which annoys me because when you're going vs 98% net decks every day, EVERYTHING RUINS THE FUN, NOT JUST AGRO DECKS. And aggro decks let you finish your quests the fastest so I hold nothing against people that play them. I hold everything against you though if you craft a 8K dust net deck like reno warlock, thats on an even higher tier and use that to farm people playing lesser control decks and their own custom decks. You're the problem just as much as the guy who logs in, plays aggro shaman, finishes a quest and leaves.
But I digress, the nerfs for one single time were 100% good. Ragnaros the Firelord leaving is literally the best change they have ever made to this game. That card was the 2nd worst designed card they have ever made! (first being implosion) and it slipped through the cracks for 3 years because it was a slower card and people were complaining about other stuff instead. I don't even know where to begin with how much I hated that card, and blizzard actually agreed with my reasoning for once! It prevented like 10 different high cost cards from being played, had coin flip RNG that decided the outcome of games rather than strategy. All in all, it was shit and REST IN PEPPERONI! Sylvannas was the same issue! Conceal and ice lance were also really frustrating cards that made you rage going vs them, and only created 1 high tier net deck, AND THEYRE FINALLY GONE. So right then and there, 4 HORRENDOUS cards are gone!!! Not nerfed, literally rotting in the Twisting NetherThe controversial cards are PO because I think zoo warlock should always be a thing. I never played the deck that much, nor particularly liked it, but I think it was a staple to hearthstone; Wasn't particulary frustrating to go against and seemed pretty balanced most of the time. It also didn't really "hard" counter anything or prevent you from playing a particular deck. It also played the most similarly to warlocks in WoW. The deck will take a big hit from that loss, but who knows if it'll survive. The one positive note though is that it nerfs the leeroy combo in reno lock! Lastly, azure drake is a little controversial, but I agree with why they're axeing it. Too overplayed and forces out other 5 mana cards. I hope they add more card draw in at least. BUT THIS ALSO NERFS DRAGON DECKS WHICH I DESPISE woohoo!!!
To the people that are like "great now all of the powerful high cost cards are gone. Now aggro reigns supreme..." guess what. Every aggro deck is getting the axe too. Midrange shaman will cease to exist after losing tunnel trogg and totem golem, not to mention the nerf to spirit claws. Pirate warrior will still be decent but they are getting some nerfs and now that rag and sylvannas are gone, the greedy control decks will be toned down so you'll have more freedom to put in heals and taunts to your lists. Plus you shouldn't judge any of this until new cards are announced.
The one scary thing though is that they're releasing 3 card expansions..... I liked the adventures much better because of how cheap they were and you got EVERY card. The 3 card expansions are definately a cash grab. Anyone with eyes can see that. However, once the game gets watered down a bit (which I can see it finally doing since the introduction of hall of fame cards) the entire environment of the game will change. It will be dramatically more difficult to get all of the cards, but it'll make peoples' collections more unique. If they succeed in making the game more balanced, people will be less inclined to craft net decks and you'll start seeing less people at rank 20 playing reno lock and midranged shaman. It won't feel as bad or weak to not have all of the cards is what I'm saying because most people will be in the same boat as you. I don't think anyone comes even close to having all of the cards in Magic the Gathering or any other popular card game.
Don't freak out about the year of the mammoth yet guys.

You can easily find out the answer by going into your collection and making a standard deck... if you can put him in the standard deck, then yes. If not, no.

Was looking for the fix too: (

Thank you for the feedback, appreciate it! Soggoth is definitely a huge obstacle for your opponent with limited answers, aside from trading their board into him =D I was lucky enough to open varian on tgt launch but was never able to use him effectively until now. I wouldn't blame you for wanting to craft more reliable legendaries first, but he is great for this specific deck though. y'shaarj could have similar impact however it would be slower and continuous until he is removed. Good luck on your future packs!

but then they wouldn't be able to make them so OP
