"Stop trying to make Dragon Paladin a thing. It's never going to be a thing." But if perhaps we go to the source, where Dragon Synergy truly began, and planted a seed alongside Dragon Consort, in the same vein as Wyrmrest Agent and Twilight Guardian...
The flavour is a Dark Iron Dwarf seeking some form of rebellion against the subservience to Ragnaros. As for the stats, it's not the same "2.5 -> 3.5 mana" that Blackwing Technician has, pretty much "2.5 -> 3," but Paladin can kinda get away with it given their Buff spells, and adding a "Gain +1 Attack" clause might start causing the text to shrink (even if you contract "you are" to "you're")
Also, technically, Lifesteal wasn't "a thing" until Knights of the Frozen Throne, but Mistress of Pain had the Lifesteal effect back in GvG, before it was codified, complete with that text. Soooo....
You are trying to make Dragon Paladin a thing. I like that. Please continue.
Hi all, leaning towards (b) for its swarm potential. With (a), I'm not sure I'd run it as 1/2 dragons is bad except for Primalfin Totem (1 is a basic). At a stretch (b) actually supports Windshear Stormcaller too as dragons in your hand don't fill the board. Follow it with Primal Talismans mates a effective Bloodlust board etc.
Also, I think there's some anti lore between Dragons - Elements, so maybe this is an issue?
Option B is much better, and is also my favourite card in this thread so far. The flavour is great in terms of name, art and effect, and I think it's interesting how it has this really strong effect which is balanced by giving your opponent some knowledge of your hand. My only issue is that turn 3 might be a bit early in the game to flood the board with bodies. If I were you I would change it to a 4 mana 3/4, but that's just my opinion. Even in you keep it exactly the same I'd definitely vote for it.
Also if anyone is struggling to find art of Dark Iron Dwarves, try looking up "Duergar". They're a race of evil dwarves from the Dungeons & Dragons universe who look very similar.
I use Augmented Elekk, two Bankers, and Zola. That gives me 6, but if you count double for when it gets bounced back by Freezing Trap then I've played 8 in a game before.
Probably a stupid question, but I thought I might as well ask... Is it too late for new entries? I missed the start of the competition.
Unfortunately yes.
Bugger. This is a once-a-year thing, right?
Big competitions like this happen twice a year. The first one is always a Class Competition. The second one is something else (like an Expansion or Year competition).
The problem with Deathstalker Rexxar isn't that he's overpowered. It's that he lets you build a 29 card deck to win fast games, then wins slow games on his own. That's bad card design.

My first couple of ideas:
Unfortunately I haven't got time right now to give feedback on everyone else's ideas, but I've picked out my favourites so far.
The Reforger is a good idea, but my favourite is the Justice. It's a nice way of disrupting your opponent's game plan. The art is very cool as well.

I play a version of Holy Wrath Paladin which hardly uses any cards from the year of the Kraken, and it works pretty well.

Spent my whole lunch break getting crushed by brainless aggro decks. Fuck Baku, fuck Keleseth, fuck Kill Command.

Cool, thanks for clarifying that.
