Fair enough - maybe I do try to force the class I prefer to play a bit too much w/ C'Thun; but, the tools are there in Rogue. Just seems like it should be able to get there. But, you make a good point. Probably best to try the Mage or Warrior variations.
Exactly - maybe that's a big part of my frustration. I have expectations for a new expansion and would like to think that new Legendary cards (at least the Old Gods) would be somewhat viable; but, they're just not. I squeek out a win w/ N'Zoth every once in awhile against control decks, but, mostly I'm just getting steam rolled by all the meta decks - DH, Hunter, Shaman and Pally. With regards to C'Thun, I'm not sure the pieces would even be much better at a 2 mana cost reduction. They just have limited value vs. the meta decks.
I've played over 20 games in Rogue with a very draw and removal heavy build and still I can't get close to completing C'Thun...much less drawing him. Same goes for N'Zoth and I've even tried some of the net deck variants here (as much as I hate to admit that). I've seriously not completed C'Thun once and by the time I lay down N'Zoth it's of no value. And please, save the comments about variance, deck build, etc. I get it, there's aggro out there and it straight up counters anything I'm trying to do with C'Thun or N'Zoth. I'm just curious if anyone is else is amazed by the fact that Blizzard prints new cards in Darkmoon like C'Thun and N'Zoth and still allows all the tools for every variation of DH and Hunter to be a thing. Seriously, what's the use? It's turn 6 or 7 and the game is over when facing DH and Hunter...and these are the overwhelming majority of decks you face in the meta. The C'Thun pieces neither heal nor clear a board early enough to be of any value. Honestly, I just dont get why they print what would otherwise be fairly cool and interactive cards like this if we can never play them in the meta they're released. It's not a matter of salt, frustration or anything along those lines...I truly just dont see the value in cards like this if you can't consistently get close to playing them.
Same - I've face 2 opponents tonight that played a Yogg and both times the wheel kept spinning but never stopped on anything. I quit the game, logged back in and it restarted as if nothing ever happened. I guess I lost those games but not certain.
That's a fair comment. I'm probably just frustrated by getting rolled on turn 4 to 5 by the shenanigans; but, damn, I thought we would have some different and new experiences this time around. I've never really complained about anything Blizzard has done because I've been a supporter for years...but, seriously, I cant believe they brought back Evolve Shaman. Feelsthesameman.

Holy shit I cant believe we're back here already. Nothing new under the sun. Corsair, Hare and then Revolve or swing Evolve weapon.
