People really will defend even the most abject garbage. "It's not supposed to be deep strategy, guys! You're missing the point. Brawls are supposed to be dumb, lol!" We get it and you're wrong. People are saying that this brawl is bad and boring because it's literally just a coin flip. It doesn't matter if you win the coin flip 50% of the time when there's no meaningful input by the player. I'm not big on memes but "fun and interactive" sums up why this Brawl is terrible.
Definitely the worst brawl I've been around for. It's impressive that they've made a brawl that is 100% RNG, boring, and broken all at the same time. Its making me dread having to use it to farm quests.
Who would have suspected a deck with only two cards that cost more than 3 mana wouldn't be a late game deck? You must make Top 100 Legend every season.
Thanks Blizz for this, and thank god it's only a week!
I feel like this Brawl is among the best I've seen. Maybe it'll get tiresome after a few days but I think something like this is what the mode was made for. It's not pure RNG bs, it's not stupidly in favour of mages, and it's actually fun.
I think Mechwarper + Metaltooth Leaper is the king of this Brawl. If you don't have Doomsayer or something then you just lose immediately.
Innervate + Cold Light Oracle is fun and effective but it has pretty simple weaknesses. Milling is pointless since there's only two cards in each deck. If their combo allows them to do more than 15 burst in a turn then you lose. And if you fill the board without them playing any minions then you can't play any cards.
Y'sharrj + Innervate is also not that good, really. Spending 2 or 3 turns doing absolutely nothing before you can play 1 minion isn't that effective. It's fun and funny but like someone said, this Brawl is just Rock Paper Scissors and if it takes you 2 minutes to play a round of RPS you're doing it wrong.
Inner Fire + Shieldbearer is pretty good for Priest. Doesn't stop spell decks but it wrecks most minion based ones.
I like the deck a lot so far. I have my doubts about Hogger though. Activators are better used on Patrons or Grom and if you're in a situation where you're activating Hogger and something else you've probably already won.
I don't think Nourish is amazing with Fandral. People aren't going to be leaving him on the board if they can help it and the combo is too expensive in a single turn to be useful without cost reduction.
People do but after mostly turning a game around and then getting 1 turn away from lethal to then have someone draw a card, say "sorry" a few times, and then play the one card in their deck that could win it for them it pretty frustrating.

If you get a horrible match up and need a new deck on the fly or if you're losing and have no outs?

Mill is definitely at its most effective when games last under 5 turns.

It's not about the quality of the combination but the reason it exists.

The Facebook comments are mind-numbing. "Oh boy, Charge + Stealth. 0/10. Is Blizzard even trying anymore? So dumb"
