So are you going to complain that it’s not fun to lose constantly if you stray from any decent decks? I find it perfectly fine to not win all the time with the weird decks I make. I just don’t go around assuming my deck is going to win, and basing my enjoyment purely off of whether I win or lose.
Yeah I completely agree, and I enjoy playing fun decks not expecting to win as much as the next guy. Except at least some fun decks put up a fight before getting blown out. Like to even play this card you have to live until turn 6 hunter, which does not sound too bad except that hunter's early board control is based entirely on minions. Don't get me wrong it could be a sleeper purify and become good in a year, however, I highly doubt it considering the circumstances.
Its just not fun losing consistently with hunter if you stray anywhere from midrange hyena hunter. Yeah every class should have bad cards, but this is like offensively bad; almost like what purify originally was. Or you know toxic arrow or bloatbat which are also in hunter.
If you go to the toucharcade article for this release there are a few other cards along with kobold hermit. I don't know if they're real or if they are just theorycraft but they seem to go along with this card.
You also have players who hate hunter because of what blizzard made it. If blizzard did not pigeon hole hunter into playing only one type of deck, aggressive decks due to its hero power, then there would be more people also lamenting about how unbalanced hunter is. There is such a small chance of there being control hunter because of the aggro hero power and their solution to this problem is in the form of hero power changing cards like the dk. However, if you don't draw the dk or dinomancy as another example, you have a "control" hunter deck that can't play controlling very well yet. Its a shame cause hunter is fun but all you'll here is "fuck huntards" and "remember hunter taker".
Why does everyone just link the salty thread when people ask genuine questions? That thread has become a dump for people who are even slightly frustrated with the game
Why is it that "priest mains" are always super defensive about priest being good. Priest never being the best deck in the meta does not justify it being tier S.
Yeah its from a while ago it may of been from old gods release I just don't remember where. There were a few people on Hearthstone's twitter talking about it but no one would link.
Can someone link Brode's tweet about packs not being predetermined? I think that'd be helpful in order to ease a lot of stress for everyone who hasn't opened packs. I looked for it and couldn't find it.
I guess i'll explain myself. This card is an indirect buff to secrets which weren't always good picks and then in part buffs another mage common being valet. It is just more huge tempo swings for mages in arena and thats not very good considering the current state.

Oh nice if you choose to cut the minion beast synergy stuff (what makes hunter decent right now) you can sometimes get 8 damage burst!

Source for Blizzard saying that packs are determined at purchase?

But is there any sure evidence or comment from Blizzard that would create the assumption that packs are predetermined?

Why have 2 shield slams instead of 2 executes? Execute just seems more consistent due to the lack of justicar and stuff
