why u not running Devolve ?

    that card is insane

Ah yes, Devolve. I used to run 2 of them, but because I kept running into Big Priest, I put in 2x Hex. When I finally stopped running into them, I cut a hex for some tech cards, like Golakka Crawler. The main reason is because while it can deal with a large, overstated threat, I felt that Maelstrom Portal was SO much better against the aggro i was facing, which was why I put in 2x Walking Fountain, which has saved me at least 2 games.

In other news: water is still wet.

Not necessarily, I encountered no Even Shamans on my run from rank 15-4. It was pretty interesting, it has largely faded from popularity in favor of Control Shaman or Murloc Shaman.

posted a message on Even Shaman is the way to go!

If any of you guys ever remembered the thread I made about my unwillingness to craft a deck, well I did it. I crafted Even Shaman, and I have to say that it is meta-defining. I'm going on a 68% WR, and there are no signs of stopping at Rank 4. I recently hit a 9 win streak, and I'm riding on a 5 win streak now. Obviously all the matchups aren't perfect, but one of the most important things is that it beats BOTH Odd Paladin and Kingsbane Rogue, and fairs decently well against Big Priest. I've played 66 games, and I highly recommend you check it out. This is looking like the Pepper Thread but if anyone wants to get into Wild, Even Shaman is the way to go. I'll edit this later with the decklist.

    Edit:

    70% W/R Even Shaman

posted a message on What if the salt thread...was a bad idea

Quite often anytime someone tries to have a meaningful conversation about problems in HS, "Salt thread link:" "There's a salt thread for that". It's just really annoying how this website is a forum for Hearthstone, but now it seems as if the only place someone is allowed to talk to in a moderately annoyed tone is the salt thread. And who actually reads what the salt thread users say? It's like writing in a diary: I am mad. Big Priest is bad. What do you think? I would like to get Kaladin's opinion on this.

A single Warpath and you concede.

It's still lethal, it will spawn those 1/1 murlocs and the enemy is at 2 hp. :P

Oh shoot, didn't see that he only had 2 hp left.

    My bad!

lol he could survive by using 2 Whirlwind and a Warpath. EZ Clap

posted a message on What about a Hearthstone version of Overwatch's just announced Workshop feature
    Quote from beppe946 >>

Too confusing for casual players (same thing for more deck slots)

Well this thing would be designed for hardcore players. Nobody who's like "Eh, I play Hearthstone sometimes during my free time" is ever gonna want to use this feature, but people who love hearthstone will use this feature. It would never work though, the coding would be a mess and the community isn't exactly appreciative of Blizzard.

well, Barnes isn't even the biggest problem in big preist now....

False. Completely false. The only reason that they can rez so many 8+ mana minions is because Barnes makes a copy of it and they keep rezzing. How da fuck else does Priest get anything on board by turn 8.

     shadow essence genius

Yeah sure, but a 6 mana above average 5/5  is nothing to sweat about, considering you have 6 turns to develop.

posted a message on Lord Jaraxxus vs Mal'Ganis

    Good points.

Mal'ganis is wild and who gives a shit about that

Jaraxxus has a superior hero power than Warlock and can win games on it's own. Mal'ganis has synergy with Bloodreaver Gul'dan, but that's pretty much it. By turn 9, your opponent can easily deal with a 9/7.

You are forgetting about these badboys and that he buffs ALL demons, including the ones dropped from Voidlord:

Mal'Ganis is the far superior craft atm, even though he is Wild only.

If you are talking about lore, I am pretty sure Lord Jaraxxus is the more powerful charcter. Mal'Ganis a Dreadlord leader but not not a world beater afaik, and absolutely not eternal.

    Quote from CrovaxTheCursed >>

If you don't know anything about Wild, you probably shouldn't be giving that advice. Mal'Ganis is threatening turn 4 because of Voidcaller, so it's not just Bloodreaver.

To the OP's point, I think Mal'Ganis is the obvious king. Jaraxxus was pretty dominant a few years ago, but the game has changed. Putting yourself at a 15 health cap is extremely dangerous in today's game. Mal'Ganis makes you immune and can be cheated out, so yeah. You can certainly cheat Jaraxxus out, but it's the Battlecry you want to go off, so it's a bit pointless to cheat him out; it truly is a turn 9+ play, and you better not be behind.

Good points. I take back what I said.

posted a message on Why are people defending Token Druid?

Why is this thread so long, the reason is because people like winning.

And who ever defended it? Literally all over Hearthpwn there's these threads "Token Druid: the New Cancer" "Token Druid, the new meta" "fuck token druid". There's definitely negativity about Token Druid. There's always gonna be consistently good decks, like Odd Paladin, which even after the nerf was one of the best decks in the Standard meta. I don't really see a problem with it, it's a good aggro deck, who ever heard of that? The main reason everyone plays it is because it's cheap and effective. Just like Odd Paladin! Why nerf anything that has a good winrate. And by the way, what deck do you play?
