Went 5-3, adjusted my deck, went 8-3.
Rogue deck, with the spirits, bonemares, fungalmancers. Goal is to put down a spirit then buff him twice to a 9/9 with a bonemare. Giggling inventor is the stickiest minion, if you can play him into bonemare of fungalmancers it's gg.
Because this brawl is so fast, you need to draw the nuts every match. So that means multiple win conditions. Alextstraza, lich King, Ysera, all auto includes. Minstrel's keep your hand full, if you can play one with a spirit down it's four card draw.
Include Malygos and two sinister strikes for a turn three finish if you played alextstraza on turn one or two.
The splintery minion (forget his name) keeps a board presence at all times.
A lot of people are playing primordial Drake or scorcher for board clears. Don't worry about board clearing. I include two fan of knives but that's mostly to clear and draw all at once. The draw is key here.
Cubes and umbra for some Malygos shenanigans, and also because it's just huge value for easy combos
I include a necrium blade to complete the Malygos package. It's a later game win condition if the bone mares and fungalmancers don't win
Lastly, Valeera if you need to stall a turn. Also gives you infinite bonemare or malygos
Edit: some matches you will just lose because the opponent draws a ridiculous turn two combo. You need incredible luck to win 12 in this.

This deck is ridiculous.....ly fun. So many N'Zoth decks that can't get to turn 9 cause you have already won.
Playing Mysterious Challenger is very satisfying too. I never had him back in the day, now I understand what it was all about.

Just tried this deck, needs a lot of work. I would add an Acidic Swamp Ooze and a Convincing Infiltrator to start with and cut a Wild Pyromancer and an Acolyte of Pain
Malygos?

How good is Heistbaron Togwaggle so far? is it just a meme card or a powerful Legendary?
Really want to craft him, I was gutted I did not get him while opening my packs.

Hey - How's Heistbaron Togwaggle performing in this deck?

Am I right in thinking that if you want to build a competitive deck after rotation you will need to include a couple of Spellbreaker or Ironbeak Owl in your deck, i.e. more than you would want to include atm.
Removals and AOEs seem weaker and there will be many targets to silence, so you will want to draw those cards quickly to keep the board.
Happy to be proven wrong though...

Me neither, I can't.

Looking at the cart already released I get the impression the FTP players will have a hard time with this expansion.
All the neutral Legendary minions left after the rotation look very situational, no cards as powerful as Prince Keleseth, Genn Greymane, Baku the Mooneater or even The Lich King will be left in the game. The DKs are gone too.
Same with Epics. Crafting Carnivorous Cube gave you access to many competitive decks across many classes. I don't see any replacement for this card. Where's Fungalmancer replacement...this guy has carried so many cheap decks.
The closest to a good all around neutral Legendary minion from the year of the Raven is Zilliax and he is not going to win you games. Archmage Vargoth might be good enough, but again he is very situational.
A FTP player who opens 50 packs might get only 2 Legendaries and not be able to build any tier 2 deck with those. Genn, Baku and their supporting cast rotation to the HoF should give quite a few players enough dust to fill the gaps, but not everyone.
The big spenders will have a whale of a time after the rotation, that's a given. The rest of us, not so much I think - we'll end up with pieces of really good decks that we can't use unless we spend all our dust to make that one competitive deck. But again...I might be wrong :)

Just summon Archmage Vargoth (twice!) and you're on a roll.

Very efficient deck. Ship's Cannon is the MVP imo.

Holy molly! I have been trying Pogo decks in the last few days and I'm missing Zola - Why I never thought of using Sonya Shadowdancer is beyond me. It's one of my favorite cards as well...
Thanks
