You are not alone man. I am having a lot of trouble beating the Lich King with priest (and still haven't done so), despite many who claim the priest is the easiest to do so.
That should be stated in the article. Most decks that work in heroic mode also work in normal mode.
Edit: To those who downvote this: this was posted before the author changed the article, adding the corresponding note. The note was added in response to my objection. So go ahead, downvote like a mindless sheep.
Hearthpwn is not an image hosting service. You obviously are not thinking of all the implications if it were. Try uploading your image to http://imgur.com for example, then linking that here.
A perfect strategy. For me, decks for heroic mode rarely work outright (despite numerous comments by people claiming they did on the first try), but this one really worked on the first try.
So unless your main goal is to beat up new players because they was unfortunate to start playing this game much later than you, I don't see the point of your request.
This means that Blizzard doesn't respect player's invested time (nor money) in Hearthstone. StarCraft is an example of that idea - you always start a game with nothing and build up your base and army from scratch every time. One could argue that the thing you accumulate is game knowledge, rather than some more visible thing like having more cards, but game knowledge you gain in any game. MMOs are an example of games relying on player's time investment instead. You accumulate good gear and game currency over time. Hell yeah one will beat up players who are "unfortunate" enough to start later (or start an alt later) in an MMO.
Your original comment mentioned nothing about new player experience in connection with the Wild format - nor is it obvious how it is relevant to your claims regarding Blizzard failing to respect players.
Don't twist my words. I never said this.
Presumably, new players will play Wild if they want to, and otherwise not.
Realistically, they won't and aren't.
Your "accumulated card collection" remains "more powerful than the newbies" - the introduction of alternate play modes didn't effect it at all.
It affected the pool of players I'm playing against. Now stop trolling.
Look, I didn't even say whether I want to play or even do play standard or not. I merely said "who the hell plays 'wild'". Would new players play "wild"? Of course not. That is a part of playerbase automatically cut off from the "wild" format.
Ideally, there would be no division to "wild" and "standard" format. I hated that change. I would like to accumulate my card collection and be more powerful than the newbies because of the time and/or money (or both) I invested in the game.
And if you say that's not supposed to happen, well, you just confirm what I stated in the original post - Blizzard doesn't value player's time investment (and monetary investment). Worse - they aren't supposed to value them by design.
I did everything like that. There was even a message along the lines of "We love <Name> (and now he's recruited you)" (using the real name I entered into my real account BTW, something to note for those who do this with other people).
Edit: Just tried again with a new account. Again, got the webpage (in a incognito tab) with my real name and the first letter of my surname, to which I entered my new gmail account. There is no confirmation that I recruited a new account. I haven't logged in Hearthstone on that new fake account yet, but I did click the "verification URL" from the message I got on that new fake account in an incognito tab.

Most decks that work in heroic mode also work in normal. Not this deck.
There don't seem to be guides and decklists for normal mode, so usually taking a deck that works in heroic also works for normal. Not the case here.
As this difference from 99% of other decks marked as "heroic" isn't stated in the article so far, "reading skills" remark does not apply.

StarCraft is an RTS.
They are different genres. But that doesn't prevent me from comparing them, because they are both games.

I call BS. This only works with a referral link. Or in my case, doesn't work.
