posted a message on How do we draw with Priest now?

I mean easy fix would be a to print a MINION based draw card, not every Priest player here enjoys brainless ressing.

I mean in wild they have all the draw tools that rotated in their pool for Razakus anyways so that's quite an irrelevant point.

The amount of times I've gotten Tekahn from Dragons Hoard is nutty, unfortunately i've been on the receiving end a couple of times too, biggest high roll ever

You should be bursting face with Lifedrinkers, lackeys and wasps.

If you read the guide and watched the replays you wouldn't need to ask that question, but you can't expect people to have common sense these days.

    Hey, cheers for the feedback.

Since the Mage/Warrior nerfs there are definitely a few things you can swap out MCT isn't too important, neither is spellbreaker imo.

Swampqueen hagatha can be hit and miss, sometimes you get the most rat shit choices as there are many 0 cost spells or you get incredible value so it's a gamble to play a 7 mana 5/5 or 9 mana for double battlecry.

If you do want to add 2x Former champs i'd recommend taking out the spellbreaker and an MCT.

But yeah Walking Fountain has won me so many games against Aggro Rogues, Zoolocks and Mech Hunters they just instantly concede, and with Lifedrinker and all the tempo you can generate with lackeys you'd usually make it to turn 8 against those decks, even in control match ups it's an amazing card to apply pressure, especially if you swampqueen a Eureka! or in the mirror match up to keep above their burst potential.

Glad to see you having fun though bro, I was having a blast too which is why I had to post it

Yeah that's unfortunate, i typically save a rush lackey for this exact reason to test prior to walking fountain.

What do you do against Tip the Scales or King Phaoris early turns? you don't run Lightning Storm, Hagathas Scheme, Earthquake or Vulpera Scoundrel for spell generation so you bank on RNG'ing Ethereal Lackey? im confused, also what's the game plan against Druid as again, no natural clears or spell generation.

Yeah Mage isn't easy, it's probably the worst match up at the moment, you just have to hit face as much as possible, you want to mulligan anything you can play early that isn't 1 health for early pressure, battlecry them in the face with wasps, lackeys and lifedrinkers, otherwise you lose to 1 mana Kalecgos and Alex combo.

Edit: You'll need a more aggressive variant for Mages if you want a decent WR against them, they win the long con no matter what you try, All my opponents as of late are mages, i've added 2x Spring Rocket, 2x Nightblade and 2x Witch's Apprentice (to finish the quest faster, you can add Fire Elemental instead for more damage tbh) in place of 1x Spellbreaker 1x Walking Fountain, 2x Mogu Fleshshaper, 1x Zilliax and 1x Mind Control Tech  just go face the whole time you win by about turn 6/7 once your quest completes, best part about adding these is it ignores any taunts and freezes, if you still don't get them by late Shudderwock will definitely finish the job as they don't have much healing, just avoid triggering Ice Barrier if they use Arcane Keysmith, this variant won't be very useful against the likes of Warrior but the damage output is much more consistent against Mages.

Edit: Can confirm the above completely destroys Mages, just don't fill board with lackeys so you can get off battlecries each turn (after turn 5 to avoid being freezelocked), Nightblade probably isn't needed, but Fire Elemental and Spring Rocket are must haves, Spring Rocket is actually really helpful in other match ups (Lightwarden EVIL Totem Huffer or you can fully kill a Zilliax with divine shield with button, just push board early do as much damage face and push double battlecries face if you can do so safely, this tactic will work against Warlock (quest) and can actually push damage against Warriors.

posted a message on Unpopular Opinion on Warrior

with the existence of the current Warrior it gives no incentive for other Control players to try other classes because Warrior just has the nuts, Shaman can out fatigue the Warrior and has some decent clears and minions to run, but is it worth sitting 45 - 60 minutes for a single game, no.

You could play a Control vs Control match up 2/3 years ago without it being 45 minutes or a snooze fest.

The problem is Warrior and Mage both have been on the top of the meta game for 2 expansions now, it's all the same shit uninteractive bullshit that makes the game stale and inevitably dying out, I agree that Lunas PG and Conjurers Calling are broken however, now you're probably going to tell me that Control Warrior is interactive, but the deck is just removal after removal after removal, Dr Boom, Discover Omega Devastator 5 times until you get to fatigue and then play Elysiana to win the fatigue game, that isn't interactive at all.

I love how a brainless Warrior is calling out Mage being broken but then defends Warrior (given the highest WR on ladder currently), yet it is one of its worst match ups for Warrior, it's almost like you want nothing to be able to beat Warrior so you defend it and call out Mage.

You're right it's definitely an unpopular opinion, because there are more people with common sense in the world than there are retards, bring back the days of Handlock, where you actually needed a brain to play control instead of just having a deck full of removal and broken discoveries.

posted a message on Luna's Pocket Galaxy issues

If they just reverted the mana cost of Luna's back to 7 then it would be fine, no early doomsayer, freeze into Lunas PG and actually makes running it and even playing it riskier.

I can see with Conjurers Calling if they don't touch Lunas is removing the twinspell (which they won't do) or it summons minions based on the cost of the card when you played it.

They've done heaps of oopsies as of late, Infinite Shudderwock being one of them and it was too late for them to make changes to the interactions when they first released because they are shit at testing their cards (this card required no testing to realise how broken it was), Elysiana is another oopsies for 8 mana, again who tests these card or even maps out the interactions during design? then there is the classic Genn and Baku, coincidentally enough all these designs all have been since Ben Brode departure
