I removed 1 of each secret so there is only 1 of each, added 2x Backstab and a Clever Disguise but imo after playing this in wild I can't go back to the standard version (there are just so many better cards)
Iceblock and a select few decent secrets into a Tess + Tog Scheme is the most satisfying way to beat some of these wild decks lol.
How is that an investment? You literally get the same amount of gold left, the only time that logic works is if they rotate to HOF because you get extra dust for it moving.
The amount of times I've gotten Tekahn from Dragons Hoard is nutty, unfortunately i've been on the receiving end a couple of times too, biggest high roll ever
Well your first mistake was to sap it, personally I would have just shadow worded, you saw them play Scarab, so what are the chances of them running resurrects, having in hand or pulling The Ancient One from a res?
Sapping that just let him play it again the next turn which negated your Zephyrs turn, which is essentially the same as them resurrecting right?, so wouldn't it be better to just out right kill it and hope for the best...?
Also playing Loatheb there probably wasn't the best choice as Zola'ing your Zephyrs there would have been pretty nutty if he did have a res card in hand.
I wouldn't blame Zephyrs entirely on your loss here as you had options.
Since the Mage/Warrior nerfs there are definitely a few things you can swap out MCT isn't too important, neither is spellbreaker imo.
Swampqueen hagatha can be hit and miss, sometimes you get the most rat shit choices as there are many 0 cost spells or you get incredible value so it's a gamble to play a 7 mana 5/5 or 9 mana for double battlecry.
If you do want to add 2x Former champs i'd recommend taking out the spellbreaker and an MCT.
But yeah Walking Fountain has won me so many games against Aggro Rogues, Zoolocks and Mech Hunters they just instantly concede, and with Lifedrinker and all the tempo you can generate with lackeys you'd usually make it to turn 8 against those decks, even in control match ups it's an amazing card to apply pressure, especially if you swampqueen a Eureka! or in the mirror match up to keep above their burst potential.
Glad to see you having fun though bro, I was having a blast too which is why I had to post it
I run 2x Walking Fountain and 1x Witchs Brew which helps in the mirrors, but I also run Elysiana for the long-con, this matchup imo is decided by who can RNG, Stormbringer with a fullboard without their opponent having any clears in hand first.
What do you do against Tip the Scales or King Phaoris early turns? you don't run Lightning Storm, Hagathas Scheme, Earthquake or Vulpera Scoundrel for spell generation so you bank on RNG'ing Ethereal Lackey? im confused, also what's the game plan against Druid as again, no natural clears or spell generation.
Can confirm I play Control Shaman without the Quest (looking at decks that include the quest for extra greed), smash Druids easily, usually heckle their Cenaruis, Nomi, Maly then clear the following turn or if its a rather small minion you can magnetize with Zilliax on turn 5.
Gameplan against Quest Druid (you suspect is running Maly cos not all are) is play Heckles, clear board and stay alive and then Shudder for extra heckles.. then Elysiana when deck dead... profit
p.s you can outheal the OTK Paladin by using Omega Mind + Hagatha/Earthquake on their first holy wrath turn, then after the second turn clear. gg. you can also run Saboteur.. if you had a brain you'd realise there are battlecries that counter combos.

I mean easy fix would be a to print a MINION based draw card, not every Priest player here enjoys brainless ressing.
I mean in wild they have all the draw tools that rotated in their pool for Razakus anyways so that's quite an irrelevant point.

'Mid Range' - more of a control deck imo

Is it though?
Just keep board clean of mechs and devolve or plague of murlocs when they try and do the combo from sleeping minions, easiest wins of my life

Mana cheating in a sense he is explaining is when it's turn 4 and you are able to drop an 8/9 drop.
Not cards that you play on mana curve lmao that are good stats/effects for it's mana.

Yeah that's unfortunate, i typically save a rush lackey for this exact reason to test prior to walking fountain.

You should be bursting face with Lifedrinkers, lackeys and wasps.
If you read the guide and watched the replays you wouldn't need to ask that question, but you can't expect people to have common sense these days.

Yeah definitely worth the 1600 dust, include-able in every deck.
