DickDraggin posted a message on New Mage Hero Card - The Amazing RenoPosted in: Card DiscussionSince it has unique wording, I highly suspect that they do not go to the graveyard. I doubt that it will touch cards in hand or deck.
As a Mage player I am stoked.

As the cycle continues, this card allows a nearly endless cycle of low cost, low impact minions with a hint of randomness to balance it all out.

- The replaced minion is secret for the player as well.
- If you copy the replaced minion (think Mind Vision ) you will get a surprise Balnazzar when you play it .
- If the replaced minion has a (targeted) Battlecry you will get a target indicator, but never an effect.

B0n3d4ddy posted a message on New Shaman Spell - Witch's BrewPosted in: Card DiscussionNow you just need to find a way to let Bogshaper stick for a turn, then it might become a powerful card in some sort of Control/Combo Shaman.

Sinthuja posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 9.10 - Submission TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsFor a mage, offers powerful spells in form of a minion but the opponent can react to it and trigger the Deathrattle on their turn. Weak to bounce, silence and transform effects.
Rogue one offers weaker spells but the opponent is more forced to play around the spell unless they have an access to a weapon removal.
Edit: improved the artwork. Added the italic font.
Lore:
Sword of Zeal is a vanilla world drop that has a chance to grant its owner a burst of energy upon hitting an enemy.
Ethereal Spellfilchers are infiltrators in Karazhan attempting to steal ancient knowledge from the old books. In combat, they have an ability called Spell Steal.

Because with the next adventure Shamans will lose most of their midrange/tempo tools like Tunnel Trogg and Totem Golem.
I just don't understand why people want Blizzard to print generally bad Shaman cards. This way after next year of Standard arrives, Shaman will become outsider class again (like Priest after Standard comes) and people will start talking about Shamans need more love.
On the other hand, releasing more good midrange cards for Shamans will be absolutely unhealthy. So, none of the current released MSG Shaman cards can fit midrange archetype well (except, may be, Jade Golem cards) and I'm fine with it. Blizzard tries to push Control Shaman idea. Diversity is good, and we need something to play with after next rotation.

I have a feeling Jade Golem will be ~3/3 minion with Deathrattle: destroy one of your mana crystals.

Dr3amb3ing isn't quite right. Effect of Inkmaster isn't cost reduction, it's overriding. So if your opponent plays Loatheb and the next turn you play Inkmaster, spell will cost 0.
Currently, you can see at Loatheb and Kirin Tor Mage interaction.

With Bloodfen Raptor it's not that easy. It's beast in the first place.

You can still be happy if you face someone with this card back and defeat him.

I love how Blizzard try to return some cards into actual play giving its effect to minions/another cards, I personally love Light of the Naaru andMuster for Battle. But I don't have much enthusiasm for playing Twilight Flamecaller. Arcane Explosion is mostly good just because you can play it with some Spell Damage minions. Playing it on T4 with Bloodmage Thalnos will give you exact Consecration outcome.
Yes, you can boost Twilight Flamecaller with Brann Bronzebeard, but 6-cost AoE combo for 2 damage is a bit too slow in my opinion, especially for Mages. There are few cases I can see this card could be pretty good, but I just can't imagine any of them not to have better replacement.
