@ChanManV pay me 5$ each week and I will do the 2min research how cards work if you are too lazy to do it before you start the show.... the 5min developer video about magnetic + mech minions has all relevant information in it.. instead of you 3 guys discussing how cards might work for 30 minutes

TizonaDelCid posted a message on Six Card Nerfs Coming - Naga Sea Witch, Spiteful Summoner, and More!Posted in: NewsSo, Team 5 is ok with a bunch of charging Doomguards in your face, oneshotting you. They are also ok with an absurd power level of Gul'dan DK, turning the tides in an absolutely unfair way. They don't mind the continuation of the suffering from the most atrocious mechanic ever in Hearthstone - silence, and Spellbreaker will still be in 95% of the decks. As if we haven't suffered from useless 0/7 Doomsayers enough. The announced nerfes are good but in the case of warlock they are targeted inappropriately. Doomguard should've read "Battlecry: Gain charge", not charge itself. The cancer lives on. As for the Spiteful Summoner, it may be or be not enough to kill the archetype, it totally depends on the whole picture of the shifted meta. As we all remember, the 1 mana Bonemare nerf did kill the card for constructed, but there is a difference between upping the cost from 6 to 7 and from 7 to 8. Also Spiteful creates a much more threatening and game-swinging effect.

Honorshammer posted a message on New Druid Legendary - SplintergraftPosted in: Card DiscussionBlizzard is purposely gutting druid. I don’t understand, all this does is create an endless cycle of meme tier to tier 1. 2 expansions from now they’ll be so bad because of the shit they got this expansion. Then blizzard will print 5 unstable evolution type cards and Druid will be back on top. It makes no sense
It make sense when you look at it from a different point of view. Warrior was amazing for a long time. Players crafted Shield Slam and Brawl to support their decks. Then Pirate Warrior became the way to Warrior and those cards didn't see as much play. Druid was amazing for most of the Year of the Mammoth with Jade so players probably crafted a bunch of Druid epics and maybe even Legendarys to support their decks. The earliest Jade Druids used Mulch and Ancient of War (see Kolento's list from Jan 2017) and now employ Unstable Infestation and Branching Paths. Jade's always made use of Fandral Staghelm. Now you make Druid meme level and those epics and Legendarys aren't as useful anymore. Now you make a class which had been bad really good. Suddenly players need a bunch of Epics and Legendarys from that class, maybe even some from the Mammoth sets which don't rotate. How many Shadow Vision got crafted when SRA (himself a Legendary) was top dog? How many Dragonfire Potion for Dragon Priest, or Obsidian Statue for Big Priest.Making a good class bad and previously bad class good can create demand for cards from previous sets. Players now want the older card packs, and have a need to spend more dust. The unstated goal is to create a need to generate more dust than the gold income only can support. Then players will turn to buying packs. -

Fierytear posted a message on New Priest Legendary Card Reveal - Lady in WhitePosted in: NewsI don't know, you wouldn't run inner fire in a priest deck without health buffs, on the other hand whole deck buffs can be good. Hard to judge but it might not be as powerful as people believe.

I used to listen to this podcast every week but lately it seems like they aren’t prepared. Makes for a messy listen. Wish they’d put more effort into the show like they used to

Druid is lacking in the 3-slot. Should see some play

Oh wow. Looks like shaman is repeat all battlecry cards you’ve cast this game? Similar to the rogue one, but better.
paladin says transform all 1 cost cards in your deck into random legendary minions.

The best thing to do to this card is make it a battle cry summon 3 1/3s with taunt. This way when you pull it with your warlock mana cheats it’s only a 3/9 taunt.
