Isn't it closer to the truth that at one time it was optimal and people have since found ways to combat it? 50% win rate at "top" legend. From VS

• Quest Mage’s win rate looks much better than it did before the patch, and that should be a concern for those interested in seeing it decline in play and free up some late-game strategies. We will note that its win rate declines as you climb ladder and it’s barely at the 50% mark at top legend. Some of its matchups are getting worse over time too and some of the “free food” matchups are in decline. Seeing that, we initially expected it to quickly drop to Tier 3.

I just saw it was the most popular deck being played in Legend. Just curious, what should I have blown my dust on...taunt druid? Hand lock?

Vicious Syndicate espousing it, largest percentage of people playing this deck in Legend, I can't get out of silver. What gives?

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I use Vicious Syndicate's reports and podcast to choose what I thought were the hottest current decks. They are hot on Quest mages so I spent a ton of dust which took months to get and created the Quest mage from their site. After 40 or so games I'm at Silver 8. I started keeping track of my win rate 20 games ago, it's 40%. This is a hot deck? Feeling like I want to quit this grind. Thanks for any advice.

I'm with you...1-9...in bronze. People grind for dust, takes forever then Dekkster throws up a vid with some catchy title and you end up with a dog deck like this. It's irresponsible...
