Tarious posted a message on Suggested changes to Bogspine Knuckles and Hoard PillagerPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from dirvenstylez >>Does not make sense. Do you know the classic card, the 2/3 with the 1/1 boar. It is not even close to being played. Youcalso have the 1/2 Jelly that keeps duplicating. Not in a single deck... And you suggest that Desert Hare gets nerfed even below that powerlevel? Sounds more like frustration instead of solid arguments.
Desert Hare is a common card and was mostly meant as a pack filler. You're literally defending a pack filler who's only purpose in the nearly 2 years its been in the meta is to pull off broken swing turns when evolve shaman is in the meta.
Razorfen Hunter summons 1 beast 1/1 1 mana for a total of 3/4 stats. Desert Hare summoning 3 beasts with a total of 3/3 stats and 3 mana each. If Razorfen's boar was 3 mana, we'd likely see it played in evolve shaman instead of Sludge Slurper or Tour Guide. Do you even know what is in evolve shaman? It's all token generating minions where the minions generate high mana value tokens. Let's not forget that triggering a sap effect with the boar isn't going to allow you to summon 2 more 3 mana copies of it the next time you play it. Your defense is literally "Well, no one's playing this BASIC card which is nothing like it!"
Oh and let's not forget Blistering Rot since you bring it up! Once again, this summons a 1/2 1 mana token. Not to mention that it is an end of turn effect that is useless if you have the means to evolve NOW. This card was meant for some weird token buff meta.
If we calculate evolves and value each mana at 1/1. Once again, Desert Hare puts 12/12 worth of stats on average down on the field. Razorfen Hunter puts 6/6 stats. Blistering Rot puts 6/6 worth of stats over 2 turns. The hare summoning only 1 mana rabbit tokens would nerf this down to 8/8, which still puts it ahead of the other 2, which is more manageable to beat than 12/12.

Pherosizm posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2Posted in: General DiscussionHey fucktards - how about using adult language on Silas Darkmoon? Rotate minions clockwise or counterclockwise makes a whole lot more fucking sense than "this way" or "that way". I know you need to attract new morons to play this shitshow of a game but I think a third grade reading level isn't too much to assume.
What an odd thing to be salty about.
Like, did you just play Silas and then make a misplay because you didn't understand what "this way" and "that way" meant?
I mean, I'm not here to judge, this is the salt thread... just seems weird.
I see that you have a lot of time on your hands if you feel the need to comment and specify that you aren't really commenting. I'm not judging it just seems like a weird thing to do.
Have you played the card? This way and that way could be either way if you don't know. if you choose the right card it could mean the opponents' right card could come down or your right card could go up. Clockwise and counterclockwise would clear that up.
I actually have not played the card, I just thought it was self explanatory with the little carousel gryphons moving in the direction the minions are going to go. They have little "movement lines" behind them to further express the direction they are going.
Anyway, you are right, if they wrote clockwise or counterclockwise on the cards, that would definitely make it more clear.

SirJohn13 posted a message on Tips to play Spell DruidPosted in: General Deck BuildingSpell Druid is definitely playable, I am currently D1 with it and doing quite ok vs DH. You just need to adapt your Mulligan to the opponent sometimes. Usually you mulligan hard for Fungal Fortunes, Overgrowth and Glowfly Swarm, but against DH you should always keep Crystal Power (cheap way to kill Satyr Overseer or Battlefiend, against Hunter I keep Wrath to have an answer to an early Phase Stalker and sometimes you might have to judge whether for example to Coin out 4 glowfly swarms instead of waiting 1 more round to get 6-7 of them on board as this delay will often kill you. The 4 2/2s will not win you the game but will earn you enough time usually to draw other combo pieces.
Some more general tips: be aware of what AoE removal each deck has against a board full of 2/2s or 3/3s so that you can anticipate and/or judge if it is the right time to swarm the board: Hunter only has Explosive Trap, DH has Altruis combos if late enough in the game, Priest is very annoying as they have 2x Breath of the Infinite and 2x Holy Nova, Highlander decks on 5 mana will get Lightning Storm from Zephrys, Warriors have Risky Skipper combos and finally Rogue has Flik Skyshiv which is also super annoying

hillandder posted a message on Tips to play Spell DruidPosted in: General Deck BuildingNo, it is not viable because DH.
You have few games when draw nuts and smash your opponent face but many games you draw poorly and get stomped by DH's and hunters.

Well, I don't know if you're playing in standard or wild, but I usually play Secret mage quite often and lemme tell you that this deck doesn't have a way yo clear the board efficiently. It needs so many cards to wipe the board that, any deck that can fill the board constantly, could make a tough matchup against secret mage

Someone know if this works in mobile Hearthstone?
