Been having fun with this deck, climbing a bit - however I have been getting demolished by Murloc Shamans. Maybe I have had bad draw, but they are annoying me right now.
Blizzard needs to do something about Big Priest, it's fucking ********. It's not even Barnes anymore, it's the might-as-well-be-infinite resurrection. And don't give me that HSReplay winrate bullshit because it loses to aggro/bad luck, it's broken as fuck. They killed Naga, Aviana, Patches, but this, the worst of them all remains. It's perverse.
At this point a nerfed card or two won't cut it, it needs to be destroyed.
It is the most frustrating and polarizing deck ever created. Nerfing barnes won't help either, not with the vargtoth double res BS.
All the time - I personally can't stand playing a deck for more than 10+ games (at least in a row). This probably doesn't make me well suited for ladder, but i usually swap most after hitting a floor level, but if I am close to next floor level (6, 11, 16) I will sometimes continue with the same deck if I am in a groove.
Working on it - slowly. I have 6 of 9 right now, but my Druid and Shaman are in the low 100-200 range. Luckily, my Paladin wins are about 400, so soon I should have 7 of 9.
Congrats on getting it - I also don't play more than an hour a day, so I feel for ya on how long it can take.
Just got my first 12-win Arena run! It is infuriating how many 11 wins runs I had previous to this (not complaining about the results, just was always tripping at the finish line to get the first 12-win run). I got it with Priest - which ironically was also my first golden class - and best of all, I got it right after a disappointing 2-3 with an arena deck which I thought would get me to the double digits.
Inspired by Hysteria's crazy Dollmaster Maly Togglewaggle scheme combo (see video), I bring you the Ancient One dream deck! The concept is simple, save up a good number of charges on Togwaggle's Scheme, play the Blood of The Ancient One [/card] and shuffle a whole bunch into your deck. Then next turn play [card]Dollmaster Dorian and Myra's Unstable Element and watch the the Hearthstone world (emote buttons) explode! Important note - its best to have your deck and hand almost empty before shuffling.
Seriously, take a break from token Druids and Bomb Warriors and dive head-first into Wild casual and experience why you fell in love with this game again. If seeing 3 of the Ancient Ones on board does not bring a smile to your face...well go back to netdecking.
Also - one of the key aspects of a control class is its ability to draw. This is one of the major reasons hunter has only sniffed at control, because while it may have answers, it often lacks the ability to draw quickly into them.
Shadow Essence is not the problem, the problem is the 4 mana res spell that you choose what minion to resurrect. Many classes have ways to cheat out big minions and cheating out an 8 or 9 drop on turn 5/6 isn't the end of the world. What does make big priest so oppressive is even if you mess with their res pool, the 4 mana spell pretty much guarantees a good res minion. That is the spell that needs to be nerfed.
I just love the creativity of decks and the added element of seeing right away what you are going to play against and picking your poison on eliminating one of their cards.

"Back to big priest" - "Cheesy Reno deck", so you're the player the community complains about in every other thread.

Take the twinspell off of conjurers calling and that will drastically improve the OP combo.

He's in my Mech-a-Thun Warlock deck - and he definitely is the reason I can beat big priest regularly (when I draw him).

Like the deck, but definitely gets rocked by warriors.

The first few weeks of an expansion release experimenting are always ruined by people like this.
