Unlikely, due to the amount of 3 drops already in hunter, Animal Companion, Kill Command, Unleash the Hounds, Eaglehorn Bow, and less often Carrion Grub, Desert Camel, Deadly Shot,Infest, and Powershot. All of those cards are better and work better with your other beast reliant cards.

This card is unbelievably good for any fatigue deck. While it might ruin your good mana curve, having 5 extra cards in your deck is pretty significant. It's fairly well balanced because you don't have a choice if you get those cards or not. It'll find a spot in certain decks, but wont replace elise until shes out of standard

Plus it still lets Savage Roar be a decent board clear, or a very very expensive 2 damage. It's solid design. Doesn't work all the time, but works well when it does. And it STILL works well with FoN. Druid is all about having a large board or having large minions, and savage roar is the crux of that philosophy.

I dont see how Velen's Chosen gives 2 less health but +1 spell power and costs 2 mana less than this card

Nerfing FoN and not Savage Roar is the right call. Savage roar being what it is allows druid to still do what it was meant to do: either build up a sticky board and buff the whole board, or play giant minions. Savage roar helps with the former. The only problem with savage roar was its interaction with FoN. FoN was enabling the combos, not the other way around. So now these cards can still be used in conjunction, and FoN now has synergy with more cards than before, like Power of the Wild.

I like it, it forces druid to do something other than midrage combo

Probably just serves the purpose of not implying the death of said creature. It could also imply some meaning with the order of operations, perhaps triggering before other summon triggers and the like

Princess Huhuran is classified as a beast in WoW. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=15509/princess-huhuran

Beasts in hearthstone and WoW is just another phrase to mean "animal" or more specifically, an animal a Hunter can tame, hence the Beast synergy with hunter

using your rules, isn't it obvious then that battlecries come from the cards that play them? Why would the player be involved in the battlecry of a minion other than targeting? The targeting reticle always comes from the minion to the cursor. In what case does a battlecry come from the hero? Blood Knight does not give the hero +3/+3. Elven Archer does not fire an arrow from the hero. Jeweled Scarab has a glow on itself when it gives you cards to discover.

Its really not as complicated as you're making it. A lot of people including myself assumed wrongly that casting a spell was something only a hero could do, but its been clarified that this is not the case and the logic holds up. Minions with effects are the source of those effects. Deathrattles, battlecries, divine shield, stealth, taunt, whatever, ALL come from the minion. The only minion that doesn't do this is SI:7 Agent, which isn't a battlecry, but rather a combo, which are about the only minion effect whose source comes from the hero.

It doesn't matter who or what is doing the Battlecry, it simply just happens. Look at Elven Archer So, saying "This minion deals 1 damage" is effectively the same as "You deal 1 damage". Its clear, its concise. You're worrying about nothing, and honestly strict grammatical rules really have no place in modern language.
