Your sense of balance is off. Take a look at Natalie Seline and Brittlebone Destroyer and you'll immediately see why.

Legendaries don't need to be twice as powerful as cards from other rarities to be interesting. They need to be interesting to be interesting.

This is underrated a tiny bit. Especially compared with Argent Braggart I've only heard people say in which situations this is worse. But not in which situations this is better.

Say your opponent plays a Flame Imp turn one.

    • Argent Braggart: You end up with a 3/2 and your opponent keeps a 3/2. Even trade. You'd NEVER play Argent Braggart this way.
    • Serena Bloodfeather: You end up with a 3/2 and your opponent a 1/1. Congrats you are now ahead on board against an aggro deck.

Secondly, Argent Braggart doesn't help with value trades in cases where you already have a board. This does. Which is great if your hero power is to heal your own minions back up.

I was still thinking it was insane when I thought it only worked when attacking minions... Now I really don't get any complaints about this being weak anymore.

It's a better crowley in every way. Which is why it baffles me that some call it bad or not worthy of a legendary. Tempo warrior wants a card like this badly.

I think it is because warrior has absolutely nothing to do with the spell schools, so they go heavy on the frenzy for warrior. The keyword obviously suits the class really well.

In a control deck, the number of good frenzy minions is not really relevant. Play 4 good ones with it and you are set for a reliable value card. That's a package of 5 cards. Play only barrens blacksmith (X2)  before this, and this is a 9/8 and two 5/6 minions. That's huge. But I actually see more potential for razormane raider. A potential to just do 10 face damage for 7 mana and hafe three solid minions leftover.

As far as a dedicated tempo frenzy deck goes, I've actually seen enough good frenzy cards. What the deck still needs is reliable activators.

This is not the paladin quest. This is an insane card with many uses in different decks.

    Quote from Scarthcaroth >>

Both Kel'Thuzard and Whitemane are also several orders of magnitude more expansive than this card is. Might still not be strong enough to see play but there's a huge difference with it costing 4 mana instead of 8 or 6.

Yes, but minions still need to be dying the turn you play this. Minions with taunt, no less, usually the first to die (on your opponent's turn)

Good to be positive, but if minions tended to stick around, Cult Master would have seen a lot more play.

Combo it with a taunt minion on the same turn, and there is STILL a huge chance this is dealt with first.

(I'm not going into the litteral meaning of orders of magnitude, I get your point regardless)

Not convinced this is any good.

It's a lot like Kel'Thuzad and High Inquisitor Whitemane. Maybe Cult Master or Necrotic Geist

Now what do those cards have in common? They didn't see much play.

I think you want to get too much value out of this you think this is somehow not a tempo card. You play this on turn one and your opponent can't play a 1/1 or a 2/1 without getting punished for it.

It's a god tier one drop and in a tempo deck, and that's all it really needs to be.

Having said that, Charge is back, so gettin more out of it is definitely possible.

In a healthy meta aggro does require strategy. Same as any archetype. I also used to be of the mindset aggro > dumb and control > smart. But control can be just as dumb, and aggro can require a lot of thinking.

Take control warrior a while back. There was so much removal that you didn't really need to think about saving resources at all. Just remove anything your opponent plays and armor up. Simple as that. That is JUST AS DUMB as going face every turn. The more the meta is a game of rock paper scissors, the less thinking there will be for any archetype.

And I have seen plenty of complaints about DH and rogue. And rightfully so. A very good example of having so much reach and draw that games become very, very dumb.
