Thank you for the suggestions! Seems I really need to be saving up some dust for Spellbender and Garrison Commander. Those will be my next crafts

Now it works for me. This is a card that needs a lot of testing, so wether it is better at 8 or 9 mana or 5/6 or 6/6 is hard to say. I'd say you may even get away with 7 mana if it is a 5/6. But then, of course, it doesn't qualify again.

No it would be unplayable then. The problem, unfortunately for this competition, is in the stats.

Wait, just don't make it a totem, that would fix the main problem! It may still be OP, but I really can't evaluate that.

You were right about how hard it is to get 5 totems killed though, I miscalculated. I play mostly control so the first 5 turns seem like nothing to me XD I do still think Tuskarr Totemic is the biggest issue.

No it would be unplayable then. The problem, unfortunately for this competition, is in the stats. As a 5 or 6 mana 4/4, it would probably be fine, also less punishing when you draw it, assuming the next totems they print are below average outcomes for Tuskarr Totemic.

I don't think this is OP because you are very likely drawing one of these before 5 totems have been destroyed. Also, if you draw this, it's horrible. What do you think? Is it overpowered? Please share your opinions and +1 if you like it!

I don't think it's that hard to get 5 totems killed before turn 5. Even if you draw one and get the other free, that's still incredible. It's hard to say but I think it's probably OP for that reason. A more obvious reason it is OP? Tuskarr Totemic.

Yes, The idea is good but it should work with another tribe, I can imagine this card with less stats, maybe 4/4 don't know but it wouldn't fit in the challenge, but a 6/6 is very op in my opinion

I see your points, but I have the golden Thrall and I can tell you both that it's pretty hard to even summon 5 totems in one game while still keeping up with the opponent. Hero powering totems is so bad mana/tempo/board-wise that I don't still think this is OP in any means. Even though Tuskarr Totemic exists.

So you don't play Tuskarr Totemic, Totem Golem and Flametongue Totem then? Fine, but don't tell me those arn't common in shaman decks. Also It's pretty safe to say that no totem with better starts than totem golem will be made because of tuskarr totemic. Just look at Ram Wrangler to see how careful they are.

posted a message on Shield Slam OP. Nerf?

To nerf Shield Slam is a ridiculous proposal, but to be fair, of all the control decks, control warrior is the easiest to play. And it's certainly easier to play than patron was. Still quite a bit harder than aggro and secret paladin though.

posted a message on Randomonium - Random Cards, Random Costs - TB #18

Somehow I managed to win three games in a row. Goal seems to be to mulligan for high cost cards and hope they become very low cost in the first few turns. Turn 3 Icehowl can carry you really, really far. Especially with a turn 4 Archmage Antonidas to follow up.

But yeah, this is the randomest of random brawls.

posted a message on Alternative Changes to Warsong Commander?
    Quote from WarmasterCly >>

There's a number of different changes they could have given the Warsong Commander while keeping the charge theme:

    • The first minion summoned this turn gains charge
    • Adjacent minions have charge
    • Minions have charge as long as they have 3 attack or less (once exceeded, the charge effect is lost)
    • Minions that are played (from the hand) have charge
    • Minions with 3 or less attack gain charge and "Cannot attack the enemy hero"

I like the first the best, as it allows you to give a big minion charge each turn. Te second seems OP to me for that reason. Still I think most of these stil limit design space for future cards.

posted a message on Alternative Changes to Warsong Commander?

This is not a thread to balance the grim patron deck. It is a thread to redesign Warsong assuming grim patron needs to be killed completely.

I don't mind that the Warsong Commander nerf makes patron warrior a pretty bad deck at best, but I do mind that we got a card that is worse than most neutral cards in return, and it's a class card! Big missed opportunity there.

So I'd like to know how you would redesign the card!

    Some things to consider:

*The card should be playable. It doesn't have to be a card that appears in top decks, but it should trigger new players to try it out, and it should do something nice for its cost.

*The card should not grant charge to Grim Patron OR Frothing Berserker

*Needs to be slightly better than the average neutral card.

*Keep in mind that warrior is weak in arena, and that a good common would help a lot.

*Also keep warsong commander's cries in mind, as they are unlikely to be updated. They are:

    Summon: Charge forward

    Attack: For the warsong

    Here is my suggestion:

posted a message on Does the warsong nerf even affect you?

I don't play patron warrior, but what affects me is that one of the basic class cards of my favorite class is now utter garbage. Why not take this opportunity to "add" an exciting card to the game instead of an unplayable one?

posted a message on Upcoming Balance Change to Warsong Commander

Grim Patron is dead, Frothing Berserker is not, As long as there is A way to give it Charge, The card still has a lot of potential. So it's not laughably easy to play a combo that the opponent can't react to in any way anymore. Guess what, it shouldn't be.

It would have been nice if they had actually made Warsong Commander useful in some way though. +1 attack to a single minion really doesn't cut it. (because warsong commander is still as easy to remove as ever, it will never buff more than 1 minion)

What makes me the most happy about this nerf is that there are apparently still some cases where they will nerf a card, which gives me new hope they will nerf Mysterious Challenger one day too.

    Faceless Infiltrarion

Oh no! Your deck has been infiltrated by faceless manipulators! Those double minions you put in your deck? Well one of each was a Faceless Manipulator all along!

How this works: Let's say your opponent has two Piloted Shredder in his deck, then one of the two is changed into a Faceless Manipulator. However, if you and your opponent each have one in your decks, none will be replaced. This only counts for cards still in the deck when the card is played. So if one shredder has already been played, the other shredder will not change.
