That's not entirely true because from the start, they implemented a limit to the amount of times defile triggers. It's like 15 or something. It goes "infinite" with Grim Patron still.

Well if it's not the same deck, no credit is needed. There are only so many viable iterations of any deck that can be made. If everyone was expected to credit everyone else's deck that is within 2 cards of their own, that would be ridiculous.

Good to see this is having success outside of my own hands. It's not like this deck is super innovative or anything, but it is very well refined and should, as you likely experienced, help consistently get some wins in the lower ranks.

I appreciate the feedback, and best of luck to you!

Yeah I realize now that Radioactive corpse is especially powerful. It could be easily fixed by changing it to, "Deathrattle: Deal 2 damage to your hero." I think.

The Blackguard Swordsmith is not as powerful to me, though. I think the weapon could be a 2/2 and work fine, though.

Bone Captain, on the other hand is worse than a lot of chargers used in aggro decks, i.e. Arcane Golem. Maybe I'm not giving face decks enough credit, but it seems like Bone captain would be better for trading. Could fix by taking Charge away and making it a 3/3 with "Your other Undead have +1/+1." That would make it more like a captain anyway, lol.

By the way, thanks for the feedback on the post!

Well that's upsetting to hear. I tried to balance them as well as possible by comparing them to the current cards as much as possible. :/

Any ones specifically that you think need reworking?

New Custom Expansion/Update: The Living Dead

Hello and welcome to my thread showcasing my very own creation of the new Archetype : Undead

The first thing I want to mention is for this to work, there would have to be some changes to some of the older cards of Hearthstone. Specifically, any minion that is undead will get the Undead tag.

Here's the list of HS cards that should be Undead:

Alright, so on with the new cards. I made only a few to start out with. There are 4 for each class (one of each rarity), and there are 8 neutral (two of each rarity) totaling to 44 New Collectible Cards. The theme for this set is obviously Undead. It was kind of meant to replace the Mechs since they are going out of rotation. There are some cards pulled directly from the lore of World of Warcraft, but there are a good amount of original ones as well. We'll start off with the neutral cards and work our way through the classes.

    Neutral:

Radioactive Corpse: Like Leper Gnome with +1 attack and a drawback.

Necromancer's Apprentice: Essentially the Mechwarper of the set, but not as OP.

Black Guard Swordsmith: Gives access to a weapon to all classes with the Cursed Sword, albeit with a huge drawback.

Bone Captain: Essentially like playing an Abusive Sergeant on a Wolfrider.

Zombie Ronin: In essence like a risky, beefy Loot Hoarder, since it is unlikely to survive more than one attack.

Soul Siphoner: So you remember that trash called Junkbot? Well here is something similar that is usable!

Apotlas: Kind of like a Kel'Thuzad mixed with Mal'Ganis. The main difference being that the buff is weaker, your hero isn't immune, and only non-Undead minions are resummoned (and only once).

The Lich King: Similar to Ysera, except 10 mana. All of the Dread Cards are based off of abilities The Lich King has in WoW.

A list of Dream Cards for comparison: Dream, Emerald Drake, Laughing Sister, Nightmare, Ysera Awakens.

    Druid:

Druid of the Dead: Another Choose One card for Druid. The two forms would be called Spider Form and Cobra Form. Spider Form is basically Deathrattle: play a Deadly Shot, so the value seems pretty good without being OP. The Cobra Form is like an Arcane Golem, but one more mana for the removal of the drawback.

Notice also that the card is Undead in the hand and Beast on the field. This follows suit with the theme of the other Druid of the [blank] cards.

Keeper of the Grave: This card has a similar total statline to Wobbling Runts. In total, you lose 2 attack overall for a more immediate board effect.

Ancient of Noir: Sticking with the Ancient of Lore/Ancient of War statlines, this is a 7 mana 5/5. Has a beefed up Stampeding Kodo effect with essentially a Mind Blast for the other choice.

Myagna: Similar to Arch-Thief Rafaam, but more druidic in nature. Essentially the three choices are turn everything into statues, MEGA-Hellfire, or make everything kill itself to prevent from getting yourself killed.

Note: Catastrophic Plague activates at the start of the turn of the person that casts it, so your opponents DO have a chance to react if you let them. Also "This card" refers to the minion being affected by it.

     Hunter:

Demented Whitehorn: Like a Spider Tank but with a freeze effect on it because class cards are supposed to be better. Also the only card with two archetypes at the same time.

Wild Immolation: Like a smaller Blessing of Kings with a Whirlwind tacked onto it, but themed for the Hunter class, obviously.

Corruption Panther: This guy is a great overall tool. Good for control and aggro, because once you get those Corrupted Stingers out and going, it's a pain in the bum for the opponent because they'll be afraid to play anything. That's why they have two turns to deal with it before it gets crazy.

Attumen the Huntsman: Based on the WoW boss. He has Shadow Cleave in the game which can hit up to 3 targets, just like his Battlecry. The main difference is just how he summons Midnight instead of the other way around.

    Mage:

Dark Sorceror: Base statline of 4 mana 4/3, like a reverse Spider Tank. Has a battlecry that's really good if you have a 1-health minion that you don't need anymore, though.

Cryomancer: This card will definitely make for some interesting gameplay. Attacking with him essentially casts a Frost Nova on each player, forcing the entire board to a standstill for one turn, every other turn.

Exploding Intellect: Like Fan of Knives, but pricier and a potential to be a lot better.

Devourer of Souls: Pretty good especially in combination with Mirror Image. Comparable to Malygos, but with a buff and a drawback/requirement.

    Paladin:

Death's Champion: Like the Shielded Minibot, except instead of Divine Shield, he just respawns once.

Smiteful Hammer: 5 mana for 11 damage and a silence? Like an Arcanite Reaper with an Earth Shock tacked on. One less mana total, but one more hit with your face.

Village Purifier: This one's a bit wordy, but essentially it works like this: Enemy has no Undead -> get a 1-mana spell; Enemy has 7 undead -> get an 8-cost spell. Like a Grand Crusader with more control.

Balraun the Explosive: This one is like a crazy awesome mix of a giant Explosive Sheep and a slightly bigger Fen Creeper. When he explodes, he fills the whole board with light, causing everyone to go blind, deaf, and dead.

    Priest:

Winged Mistress: Like a Cruel Taskmaster but instead, you get to choose whether you buff or deal damage... sort of.

Purging Hands: Kind of like a mass Recombobulator but getting rid of all those nasty Undead.

Acolyte of Light: Like a weird mix between a Lightwell, Healing Totem, and an Acolyte of Pain. Has great synergy with Northshire Cleric.

The Shadow Healer: This guy's a doozy. At face value he looks pretty bad, but when you realize you can do 20 burst without mana cost reduction, it's pretty good. The Shadow Healer into 2x Light of the Naaru and 2x Flash Heal deals 20 damage to your opponent and only 4 to you after heals. Still probably about as difficult as pulling off the other Priest OTKO combos.

    Rogue:

Blade of the Moon: Like a Tomb Spider, but class specific.

Deadblade: Kind of like a Shade of Naxxramas meets a Flesheating Ghoul.

Bonedead Assassin: Playing against a non-Undead deck? 2 mana 4/3. Seems balanced.

Zaelas the Mortifying: Like a mega Abusive Sergeant, except the health reduction and attack buff are permanent. Also equips an almost-Gorehowl that is meant to close out the game quickly, whether you win or lose.

    Shaman:

Bone Shaman: Another good tool, like Lava Shock, to help alleviate the pain of Overload.

Ethereal Divergence: Very tricky card to use. You obviously don't want to have Undead minions out when this hits the field.

Tauren Necromancer: Like an Imp Gang Boss and a Thrallmar Farseer in one.

Graun the Reanimator: Same total stats as Al'Akir the Windlord, but for 1 more mana, you get +1 spell damage. Also, it requires you to have an Undead minion.

    Warlock:

Band of Ghouls: All I have to say about this one is, "Isn't that little gnome so cute?" He thinks he's in a band... of ghouls.

General of the Doomed: With the statline of a 4 mana card, 1 mana 2/2 charge may seem too good, but you have to have an Undead minion, so I think it evens out.

Trisfal Sorcerer: Like the Raid Leader for the undead.

Blood-Queen Lana'thel: Very Situational. You can play it and bounce it back for a board clear. There are many other creative uses for her too, like triggering all of your Deathrattles and fully healing the board by killing her off. Her Battlecry is based on the Swarming Shadows ability in WoW.

    Warrior:

Darkslayer Dwarf: A bit wordy, but it works like this. Let's say you target your Earthrager Ptah. The minion is destroyed, but your opponent takes 7 damage. If you target your opponent's Earthrager Ptah, YOU would take the 7 damage and HIS minion would be destroyed.

Ready Defenses: Like Shield Block, but instead of draw it, it gives a minion Taunt and gives you an extra 3 Armor if there is an Undead.

Worgen Seeker: Terrible if your opponent doesn't have Undead. Great if they do. You get two Worgen Infiltrators giving you a total of 6/6 worth of stats for 4 mana.

Earthrager Ptah: The Battlecry affects friendly minions too, so watch out. The Deathrattle just wrecks your opponent, though. It's like a Whirlwind-ish added to a Consecration+.

Okay, That about wraps it up for my creations. I know it was quite a long post, but I really appreciate any of you who take the time to carefully look at the whole thing. I appreciate any and all feedback! If it makes it easier to review, just pick one class (or neutral) and tell me what you think of it. I'll be sure to respond as soon as I can.

Thanks again to everyone in advance!

The Master Tinktician (Spare Part Extraordinaire)

    The Master Tinktician

Okay, so here is what I came up with. It's extremely versatile if you can get the spare parts you need.

This guy is kind of like a Legendary, reversed Djinni of Zephyrs that only works with Spare Parts.

Below, in the spoiler tab, are some explanations on how they work:

Armor Plating: Use this to keep your minions alive and get better trades!

Whirling Blades: Also use it to get better trades if you're careful. Can be used to finish off your opponent too!

Finicky Cloakfield: Take your turn as normal, then cast a Conceal in ANY class! The opponent doesn't benefit from this one since their turn starts and the cloak is removed.

Emergency Coolant: This one is a little more dangerous as your minions will stay frozen next turn if you attacked with them. But, it essentially forces the board on pause for a whole turn. It is essentially like casting Frost Nova on both sides.

Reversing Switch: Also used to get better trades or to finish off your opponent. Gives access to the ability that Confuse has to ALL classes!

Rusty Horn: Low on life and you need to trade minions? No problem! Give everything Taunt!

Time Rewinder: This one is the most fun. It's like casting a 5-Mana Vanish. (4 from The Master Tinktician + 1 from Spare Part.)

     Hopefully you guys like it!
