Why do you think that The Darkness is the worst? It is 4 mana do nothing, but it can actually be the win condition since sometimes arena games can go to fatigue

The card is very good. First of all, this is 2 mana 2-2 which is decent. It almost certainly draws you a card against aggro decks and 2 mana 2-2 is enough tempo against control decks(druid and paladin for example). Moreover, it reveals useful info about the deck you're playing against. Overall, very good in tempo mage, kazakus mage and even in some heavy spell based decks.

It's a good card, but definitely not the best one. You people are so narrow minded and simple, that you fail to see the flaws of the card. When is it good? Against aggro obviously. But it is terrible against every control deck, because it is a very weak proactive play, especially when you have board control. Also, you need a dragon to play it, so it is most consistent in dargon priest, which is really not the best deck, and this card doesn't support the deck archetype. It seems to me that every strong anti-aggro card released in hs is marked as meta defining, the same was with defile, everyone were shouting that defile is insane, but it ended up being decent anti-aggro tool, nothing more.
