user-1644462 posted a message on Slightly New Big RoguevPosted in: Slightly New Big RoguevPiloted Sky Golem is a terrible replacement. It needs to be an 8 Mana card. There are very few pulls for Silver Vanguard already.
So these are your options:
Violet Wurm or Splitting Festeroot to fill the board with their deathrattles. The other options are all bad Barnes pulls, but you might consider
Charged Devilsaur (CHARGE)
Chromaggus (will never get to draw)
Foe Reaper 4000 (will never get to attack)
Force-Tank MAX (OLDSCHOOL) -

Pathod posted a message on ME STILL GO FACEPosted in: General DiscussionIt's fun! What else is there to say?
Quick games, quick decisions - and decisions that matters. "Okay, the guy might play this clear next round. What should I do to keep up the pressure?". Aggro vs aggro is all about making good and efficient trades. One bad decision and it's over.People should learn to appreciate all aspects of the decks Hearthstone has to offer. Control, aggro, midrange, combo and meme instead of being a narrow minded control players: "I play a slow deck and that requires skill", well not really.
It's not always narrow minded control players, I play everything except aggro because I like to play a game further than turn 4

Carfusso posted a message on ME STILL GO FACEPosted in: General DiscussionThis Is not a complaint or anything of that sort,i am Just genuenly curious, what makes a Fast/aggro/face/whatever you wanna call It deck enjoyable to play for you,all i see as "the other guy" Is somebody that Just lobs Monsters at me until i stop moving but there must be something that encourages people to play It
Is It a lack of time from your side so you Need to play Fast games?
Is It Just because you want something to Smash your opponent quickly so you get a higher rank faster?
Is It something else completely?
Let me know below here, again I don't think aggro Is bad for the game,i am Just curious what drives people to It

IambicAvenger posted a message on Regarding WarriorPosted in: Standard FormatThis aggressive push for nerfing Warrior only three days into an expansion is extremely premature, particularly since Bomb Warrior isn't overpowered yet. Even if it weren't, though, I think a lot of the ore arguments are pretty flawed as well.
Regarding Brawl, the power level seems entirely appropriate. Unlike lots of other AoE, it's a symmetric effect, so the only way you'll clear the enemy board is by risking your own board. It also means you're spending two cards just for the chance to achieve the same board clearing effect of Twisting Nether, so there's an efficiency issue. As a single target removal (e.g. clear something like Mountain Giant), you spend two cards for an affect that might work out like Assassinate - a card no one runs because of how pricey it is. On the topic of countering Brawl, Token Druid has lots of board building effects right now, and Soul of the Forest is basically a hard counter for Brawl in today's (very early) meta. This is exactly what you want to see - aggro decks beat control decks and keep the number of control players in check when the meta stabilizes. With no new AoE printed in Rise of Shadows, aggro decks with lots of reload will wear out control deck AoE.
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is nowhere near the power level of the most popular deathknight cards. "7 mana gain 7 armor" will not protect you against most aggro decks, whereas the deathknights had much more powerful immediate value when you played them. Yes, his hero power is notably better than most other hero powers, and yes, Warrior is one of the few classes with a hero card still in the standard rotation, but comparing Dr. Boom, Mad Genius to the deathknights is flat out wrong.
Blastmaster Boom is a very powerful card, and the comparisons to the reign of terror that was Dr. Boom are unsurprising. However, the biggest issue with Dr. Boom was that he was a neutral card, showing up everyone and ruining deck diversity. That obviously won't be an issue here, as he is a class card that is only playable in a deck that wants to use bomb cards. Toady, that's most of what you see on ladder, but other Warrior archetypes may not want to use those bomb cards.

CWSmith posted a message on Is Token Druid the new Odd Paladin?Posted in: General DiscussionFirstly, I'm not super pro or amazing at this game. Very casual. Maybe been playing too much with this release.
Anyway, I toyed around with a few deck ideas, and they all saw me bounce around the bottom of the ladder. 20 to 18, then back again, rinse and repeat. That's how most my first day of RoS felt. Then, I versed an absolutely stellar druid deck. I was playing spell hunter, and was playing alright, but this other fella was just 2 steps ahead the whole game. Got chatting with him about the deck concepts, then went and ran my own spin on it (after trying some of the stuff previously, but not crafting the key cards: Wispering Woods and Crystalsong Portal etc.).
Wow. What a deck. I raced from rank 19 to 13 without a single loss. After that, struggled and made it down to 10. Didn't stop there, I'm now at rank 6. Previously, my best had been 8. That said, now I'm winning as much as I'm losing. Finding myself in a lot of control matchups and having some bad draws are my excuses, but I understand people are much better players on this rung.
I'm finding the deck running a whole lot like odd pally did about a year ago (don't judge me, it was my first serious deck). Fill the board up as quick as possible, pump the minions, and win. Boardwipes were the biggest threat to odd pally, same as with token druid. That said, I feel token druid can pump out a big board much faster. Anyone else tried this type of deck out yet? I seriously think it will be one of the tier 1 decks, along with heavy control bomb warrior.
Here's my take on it.

SlydE posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionThe Wild/Standard split is a mess right now, but it will hopefully be sorted soon!
To speed up the process of placing the new cards accurately and find their uses, these are my projections for the new cards:
Scargil - Projected Tier 1-2
The Boom Reaver Projected Tier 2-3
Barista Lynchen Projected Tier 2-4
Archivist Elysiana Projected Tier 1-2
Lucentbark Projected Tier 4-5
Tak Nozwhisker Projected Tier 3-5
Archmage Vargoth - Pre rotation good card in Malygos priest and token druid. Projected Tier 1-2
Catrina Muerte Projected Tier 2-4
Nozari Projected Tier 4-5
Commander Rhyssa Projected Tier 2-3
Fel Lord Betrug Projected Tier 4-5
Jepetto Joybuzz Projected Tier 1-3
Vereesa Windrunner Projected Tier 1-2
Keeper Stalladris Projected Tier 1-2
Swampqueen Hagatha Projected Tier 2-4
Heistbaron Togwaggle Projected Tier 1-2
Khadgar Projected Tier 3-4
Blastmaster Boom Projected Tier 1-2
Madame Lazul Projected Tier 4-5
Arch-Villain Rafaam Projected Tier 3-4
Chef Nomi Projected Tier 1-3
Kalecgos Projected Tier 3-4In general, this set seems pretty solid in the legendary department with much better early winrates than previous ones. This might have a lot to do with some very strong cards rotating from standard, opening up more space.

Ace1a posted a message on What tools are there now to stop aggro?Posted in: General DiscussionI'll probably stick to Wild, primarily, if aggro's a problem.
The wild meta is far more broken and is full of aggro and big priest :( Nerf Barnes!

In my opinion wild is really fun at the moment with the new expansion, new core cards and the nerf reverts. And after you probably dont have the new cards after 1 and a half years it might be a good place to start to just play your old decks there or something you always wanted to try out. Just watch out for paladin.

Instead of 2x Storm Chaser, 2x Sunreaver Warmage and 2x Rain of Toads (so the 5 cost spell package if you will) I'm running:
2x Witch's Brew: I often find the heal winning me both matches against tempo decks, because they run out of tempo and control warrior because can help in the fatigue game (often it doesn't but it can)
2x Mind Control Tech has saved me many games against Conjurer mage on their Khadgar turn. Also nice with Shudderwock to claim back the board.
1x Giggling Inventor because it's great stall and has better synergy with shudderwock than any of the cards cut.
1x Earth Shock for cards like Twilight Drake in conjurer Mage or against mech hunter
I also run only 1x Lightning Storm and no Bloodmage Thalnos because I feel that's too weak against pretty much all decks except for Zoolock and Murloc Shaman. And I don't run Doomsayers because they don't help me against Rogue and Warrior.
Instead I'm running more of a "draw-Package" with
2x Acolyte of Pain
2x Twilight Drake
Apart from Deck my Control Shaman is the same. I can also give on this Knowledge but I won't explain because Time exists:
Baleful Banker is pretty bad (who would have thought... I still had to try though)
This I can confirm
I moved away from Big Bad Voodoo because often the result is bad or I lack viable targets

If you have full health he won't gain divine shield either.

In Wild even Lotus Assassin sees play in burgle/tesspionage/steal Rogues because of the variety of spells and because of being a mirror match tool. So I think this will see play too. Also the Pirate tag will probably make the already experimented with steal-tempo/pirate rogue better.
