This card is much better than it looks. Not only is 3/6 taunt for 2 mana a great value, it forces undesirable plays for your opponent's board against your board. They may for example, not trade a minion and instead hit face to prevent the taunt from going up, essentially giving you extra board control. You guys will be surprised by how confusing this card will end up being against a skillful Paladin player.

Tehstool posted a message on Battlegrounds Balance Changes - 4 New Heroes - 4 Old Heroes RemovedPosted in: NewsElise and Brann seem very strong. Sindragosa seems ok. Buffing the minions you froze in the tavern is alright. Finley also seems ok.
Edit: I thought Elise's hero power would be free for some reason, but it costs 3 gold. So I guess she's not as strong as I thought.

KnivesOut posted a message on Rise of Shadows Packs Can Now be Opened at Fireside GatheringsPosted in: NewsI am not joking. I pre-ordered the 80 packs, and got one additional pack from a Tavern Brawl. I opened Scargil in the first few packs and then Blastmaster Boom with about 30-40 packs left.

I like removing Millificent. Very simple and striaghtforward hero that drove too heavily into one playstyle

Such an idiotic comment. You're implying that they balance entirely around Pogo-Rogue? lmao you clearly do not understand how game balance works even in the slightest

I don't consider myself cheap and have no problem spending $$ on video games. But locking Single-Player content behind a paywall (you can get 5 star games on Steam for cheaper...) in a game that's already expensive as hell just seems so greedy to me. It's like they realized how great Dungeon Run was and thought "Huh... we could monetize this too!" I'll play the free wing and will buy it if it's fun, just don't like them making players pay for more content (compare this to Naxx or League of Explorers, which came with crucial new cards)

It's mainly because of the specialist format, but also other things. In specialist you can use a sideboard so EVERY grindy control deck will Sideboard Elysiana-Banker and make games extremely long. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if you were required to actually run the card in your deck... but you're not. There's no possibility of being punished by aggro for your greed because you don't even have to run it against aggro, just take it out in control matchups.
This is amongst other concerns, like completely removing the element of fatigue from long games. Not to mention Elysiana-Banker mirrior matchups just feel awful to play.
These are just a few of the reasons, I'm sure there are more. I think the card is awesome but it represents a major, major oversight for the new specialist format

Love the deck - wouldn't Slam be a better option than 2nd Devastate/Inner Rage/Whirlwind?
Honestly there's not any reason to be running bad cards like Inner Rage if they are not part of the combo

garbage deck lmao. built around a 10 mana card
