You sure can replace Malygos, he's a toolbox card that's especially important in your control mirrors.

A fine and cheap alternative would in my eyes be Arcane Amplifier, since he performs well against Paladins and helps you out turning Mordresh Fire Eye on. Aside from that I dislike putting in more high mana dragons or spells, so Jandice Barov might be a nice tempo option.

But feel free to make your own decisions, the deck is super customizeable ;)

Thing is since I started this primer my life changed drastically and time to play actually became a much more limited resource.

But I realized one thing: I do not particularly love Hearthstone (I'm a Magic player I must admit) but I love this deck. I got it completely golden by now, I'll play it into oblivion and keep this primer alive for my personal and also your enjoyment :)

I played it all the way up, the version up here is for Diamond up to Legend specifically, but with the guide anyone can tweak it to their personal liking.

It's been way too long to compare your post to my recently updated list. But Pyros was already by then clunking your hand too full with copies of herself. If you're still around check out my how to wreck Big Priests so you on't have to concede to them anymore ;)

1#) Since I haven't been playing too much during the last weeks I didn't quite get Secret Mage's dominance into my head.

But you're more than right in pinpointing on Eater of Secrets and Kezan Mystic. I'll add them in the description and think I'll make a slot for Eater of Secrets in the deck since he clears multiple secrets at once.

2#) As I said I haven't been playing too much recently but the inability to rely on Ice Block really does hurt Reno Mage.

What certainly did work well was getting your Ice Block in hand for 0 mana with ancient mysteries and trying to anticipate your opponents secret tech so they have to waste 4 mana to clear your secret(s) the same turn they try to kill you. (Truth be told most of the times I could try these moves I ended up placing my Ice Block 1 or 2 turns before the actual kill, so there's a high skill cap in executing this corrctly).

What did work well against Secret Mages especially was keeping a starting hand Reno Jackson for stabilization on the 6th turn. If you're also seeing your Hex Lord Malacrass in the following turns, then it's mostly game for your opponents since they normally can't beat 2 Renos or even more.

    Hey you,

thanks for the advice, but I do hope people on here still have some humor left in them and can laugh about it ;)

I'll edit it out and do a real guide on my list. I actually didn't have the time for it during the week.
