Why exactly is he allowed to play in tournaments anyway?

b1ak1ce posted a message on 3500 gold to get 15 packs+1 Golden Pack ???Posted in: General Discussionsince there are no unique cards earned from this (sans the gimmick card at the end) and you just get packs, you are just paying for the experience.
There's no reason to pay for it if you dont want said experience. -

Dendroid posted a message on 3500 gold to get 15 packs+1 Golden Pack ???Posted in: General DiscussionBut for $20 it’s actually quite a good deal. I think people overly commit to this F2P mindset but that’s just me I suppose.
Yeah, it has NOTHING to do with anything of what you said. What they used to offer labled as "adventures" were far and away a better value and play experience for the consumer, this is literally the shiny lootbox version of that. This defending of lootbox bullshit is getting out of hand.

As Wikipedia puts it:
"A sideboard, side deck, or side is a set of cards in a collectible card game that are separate from a player's primary deck. It is used to customize a match strategy against an opponent by enabling a player to change the composition of the playing deck."

DoubleSummon posted a message on HS is losing it's players big timePosted in: General DiscussionI have been a following many streamers since I started playing HS 4 years ago, now more than ever I am seeing more of them having little to no HS content in their channels or uploading old content cause they stopped playing to name a few?
Trump, Kibler, Amaz,Firebat, and Savaj that left 3 months ago as well, wonder when Kripp is gonna start quitting HS as well.
apart from dailies I haven't been playing for a while either..here should be an announcement in 1.5 weeks about the new HS year if there isn't anything entirely new I guess I will just quit as well, I don't know why so many of us cope with this game for so long they keep it stale for too long the meta is solved too quickly and the new cards aren't played at all, as well as Blizzard destroying entire class identities cause they are too greedy to nerf their newer cards that ARE THE PROBLEM RIP druid... (never liked druid BTW)

By all means, set some guidelines, but don't censor a discussion about censorship.

Quest Rogue? Shout outs to all the guys I met playing one of the most hated decks in HS history in CASUAL today...
I am not surprised that people are salty at the moment. HS is currently full of polarising match-ups and it's just not fun to queue into a match where you have only a 10% or 20% chance to win.
Hearthstone is arguably a premium product (you either pay a substantial amount of time or money to build a collection). So why should the community accept a product that is riddled with design problems? The balance team needs to do their job and be more agile when it comes to correcting the games obvious problems.

Short answer: yes, it is one of the worst designs in Hearthstone history and, rightfully so, one of the most hated.
There are some easy changes that would make it more "fair", in my opinion. Blizzard could change it so the aura only applies to the cards in your deck (not hand/board). Or they could change it from an aura to a normal buff, so it can be silenced.
Or they could address one of the main problems with the deck: infinite Zola the Gorgon via Death's Shadow. Simply change Zolas text so she only targets "other" cards (i.e. she cannot target herself).
Overall, I think Hearthstone should avoid extreme match-up disparities like the plague and Quest Rogue creates some of the worst examples.

You’re collection is set to private, so it’s hard to advise. Pretty much any meta deck can get you to Legend if played correctly (and played enough). So pick one you like/can craft and stick with it until you master it. At Rank 18, you’re probably making fundamental errors - watch some streamers, who explain their plays, like Cifka.
Also, if you’re not already, use a tracker, start thinking more about playing to your outs, and make sure your mulligan is always correct (using Hearthsim).

I like your designs, but I feel that this is a deliberate design choice by Blizzard - they want people to pay for Golden cards, if they want more visual bling.

3 packs and a card back. The puzzles should be fun though, I'm looking forward to it. But if you just want the packs, you will be able to look up solutions and click through pretty fast.

Twitch is so bizarre - over 500 people just watched a bounty hunter cook and eat pancakes. W T F...
That said, it's no less bizarre than teens donating their allowances to multi-millionaires, like Reynad...

Agreed. Personally, I will be avoiding all spoilers (including streams). Until I get stuck... xD
Unlike Dungeon Run/Monster Hunt, I don't think this mode is very suitable for streaming, unless you have already completed the puzzles yourself (or don't care about spoilers).

Awesome. xD
I really hope they don’t rotate him out of Standard, he’s such a great idea.

Eureka! and Dreampetal Florist have horrible art, in my opinion.

Good luck to them, I am interested to see what they produce. I’m very surprised that Blizzard didn’t have them under a non-compete clause though, it’s very common in the tech industry.
