Yeah game is too expensive now and too random. And nothing very new about the game thus far.
The random nature of it is not talked about enough, in my opinion. Blizzard simultaneously push it as an esport, whilst adding more and more random card creators. It is a bizarre contradiction. All similar styles of card game have draw variance, but very few have so many uncontrollable, unpredictable sources of (sometimes game-winning) random cards.
To me, Hearthstone is fine as a fun, casual game, which you don't take seriously. But it can never be a serious esport in its current form.
Iksar was spotted playing Control Warrior on Kripp's stream. Apparently, that is very uncharacteristic of Iksar, so the rumour is he's playing the deck to explore how it can be nerfed. So, if you're thinking about crafting Armagedillo maybe don't?
Im in rank 5-3 and i tell you its impossible to beat aggro decks with these tow.
I believe you, I'm a bit doubtful about them myself. I'm holding off crafting the Hunter Highlander deck, the problem with these decks is they are also extremely expensive in terms of dust.
The extended pre-release was obviously going to promote netdecking. Hopefully, sales were bad, so Blizzard don't do it again. If everyone opened their packs on day 1 and started building, it would be so much more fun.
The OP is both right and wrong. Blizzard IS one of the greediest companies in the gaming history, which is why players are quitting in droves for other games (like MTGA and TFT). That said, HS drop rates are not variable, to fix them like the OP suggests would be unlawful.
This has always been the biggest problem with Hearthstone, and one reason why people are giving up and migrating to other games: it is founded on loot boxes. If you open badly, you are in a really tough spot: you either craft cards and gamble on what will be good, but if you're wrong you end up with trash decks; or you wait until the meta settles, missing out on the most fun time to play (right after the expansion drops).

Looks fun and I got the quest free, but I can't bring myself to craft Betrug. And he seems core to any quest deck.

Is that opinion unpopular? I thought it was obvious. Even chief shill Kibler released a video about it a few months ago.

Well, MTGA gives you at least 1 pack per day (without excessive grinding). So...

When you do get lethal from him though, it's a great feeling. Probably my favourite HS card in a few years.

Have you guys been getting Blood Lust and Savage Roar from Zephyrs? I am not. Alternative lethals, but not those cards.

Rock paper scissors is such trash game design. HS should not be so dependant on who you queue in to.

Highlander Mage and Highlander Hunter are both doing okay according to HSReplay stats.

Would anyone be that surprised if it was another CC Mage / Control Warrior meta?
