    I sincerely pray that every spell Mage player gets genital warts.  Blizzard MUST destroy the deck.  Nerf it into dustland.  Its cancer beyond cancer.  Zero skill too.  Like zero.  Fucking assholes milking it too.  And they probably think they're good players.

    I’d say the problem is more why aren’t blizzard spotting problematic cards before they’re even printed. Are you telling me no one saw Crabrider with 4 hp at 2 mana being a problem at any point? Or none of their testers were big brain enough to work out lunacy could get you all the best spells from other classes on turn 2?

    From bronze 10 to legend all you see is the most efficient T1 decks so even after nerfs it’s of no consequence really, and as blizzard don’t seem to be able get a balance where more than 3 decks are playable you’ll just be queueing into the same decks within a week of nerfs landing  

     

     Great post.  I understand that sometimes things can be missed and a nerf here and there is inevitable.  Like software patches to fix escaping defects.  That’s fine.  But many of these cards brokenness are no brainers and you wonder WTF happened? How did some of these get past basic QA? To me, they need to slow down the releases and take better care at giving us quality over quantity.  Give us more usable cards and less broken stuff that ends up in every deck.

     Yeah, WHEN it works and when you draw them and IF the mage can’t still string together enough spells to screw you anyways.  Don’t forget they run two of them so they’ll still likely have one they can play with like 20 zero cost spells.  Just saying. You ain’t "farming" nothing. You’re slightly increasing your win rate and that’s it. 

    So, those cards do help but are by no means a panacea for that horrible spell mage deck.  Oh and as usual, those two tech cards can cause you to lose many other games.  Like against priest or warlock they are dangerous as hell. I’ve never been a fan of nerfs being so drastic that they kill a deck but I PRAY they do exactly that to this BS deck.  It’s the worst thing ever and makes Res or Raza priest seem fun.

    And Tickatus?  Remove, remove, remove, remove, remove, remove.... heal, heal, heal a bit more then Twisted Neither.  Then Strongman.  Then Tickatus.  Then Tickatus comes back for zero mana.  Another Einstein-like card design.  Playing it once is bad enough....but TWICE?  Hello?  Dumb ass?

    Boy I just love hand barf/buff aggro.  So skill intensive.  I often wonder if the player on the other end is even actually awake?  Like they could be in a coma and STILL puke their hand every turn.  Great.

    Some good advice here.  I can probably tech better.  I just hate when you do make tech changes and then inevitably never face said deck again. Dead cards hurt your other games a lot. I managed to get to D4.  That’s good for me.  Try to go a little further this season.  Going to tweak the deck a bit.

    Dont bother - I crafted some of the cards and wasted the dust.  Its worthless.  It loses to Spell Mage, anything fast and big Druid.  Its a garbage deck because burning cards doesnt mean a god damned thing when the game has unlimited discovery and other shenanigans.  It simply doesnt matter.  So you burned five of their cards did you?  Big effing deal.   Trash tier.  The ONLY wins you get are purely based on bad draws by your opponent.  All those souls shards dont do a damned thing against large boards or high attack minions.

    Ya know - its NOT Tickatus thats the problem at all.  It really isnt.  Here is the problem and what truly needs fixing to make this "control" Warlock deck not such horrific bull shit:

    1. Way too much removal.  Like Way too much.  Not a single minion every sticks ever.  Ever.  Not one.  Even if you have a board - its gone with one cheap card.  Oh and not only does the removal get rid of everything but it also loads their deck with healing cards which they conveniently draw all game long.  Get rid of the entire concept of those stupid "heal for 2" cards.  Then, raise the cost of their damned removal.  Yeah, its a control deck but with such a brutalizing late game card they need to pay the early price and they dont. 
    2. Get rid of the card that allows Tick to be played twice.  They get a 10/10 body, an 8/8 body AND they burn five more cards?  Dafuq?  Thats game ending right there.  Its like OTK game over.  Control decks shouldnt have an OTK like that.

    If Tick can only be played ONCE per game & you get rid of some of Warlocks obscene, unlimited removal then the deck is much more reasonable instead of being instant concede for anything other than face hunter.

    Im playing my own version of HL Hunter with a few cards from each of the posted lists above & a few of my own.  I do run an early game secret package and Mankrik.  I use Play dead versus Feign death as often I need just one deathrattle to go off - like Sylvanas on Turn 7. :).  I got rid of The 9-mana Dragon that discovers two-dragons for zero cost.  Just didnt do enough at 9 mana and sometimes the two dragons were crappy.  I removed Jewel because if I survive that long I can wait another few turns and just drop NZoth.  Stitched tracker is a must, IMO to get a second Zephrys, Reno, Dino Tamer, etc.  I run that 5 mana Applebaum taunt/4 heal too.  It helps with aggro which is still an issue for this deck if you can answer boards.  Albatross is great against just about any deck and is a decent 4/3 body for 3 mana.The deck is good enough to compete though. 

    I reached D4 this season with it which for me is solid. Im happy with that.  If I had faired a little better against Damned murloc shaman or dude Paladin I probably could have hit legend.  Those two decks give me fits though.  Below is my current list which I hope to get at least back to D5 with this season if not further.

     In what parallel universe does murloc shaman have unlimited card draw? Cos most lists run exactly two ice fishings and that's the only card draw they have. Doesn't exactly look unlimited to me, tbh.

     OK - unlimited Murloc generation then . They never fucking run out of guys.  Board clear?  Too bad.  Next turn loaded up. Board clear again.  Too bad, full buffed board next turn.  Board clear?  Too bad, full buffed board again.  Its.  Fucking.  Broken.

    Time to bitch about Murloc Shaman in Wild.  Are they fucking kidding?  If a deck ever needed a massive nerf its that one.  40/40 worth of stats every turn.      I know, it’s ultimately my fault for being stubborn, LOL.  It just seemed like I was making headway up until D5 and then my slightly above 50% win rate turned into around like 10%.  Geesh, I suck! :)

    Flik Skyshiv to me is not working as intended.  It should be a direct counter to Priest and their Res BS.   But it isnt.  Why doesnt it kill the minions that Priest resurrects?  It says wherever they are..... ?????  They had one card to help with Priest in Wild and it doesnt even do what its supposed to.

      Oh it does..... for ONE turn. The problem is on the next turn they reload 100% and usually even worse. Thats what happens when cards cost too little and are way too powerful. Especially the buffs. Its stupid at this point.
