Tom and Jerry remains brilliant to this day, love the new fad for using it for hearthstone memes.

TardisGreen posted a message on WORST EXPANSION OR LEAST IMPACTFUL EXPANSION AFTER THE NERF?Posted in: Standard FormatTGT and TBD have something in common - they both couldn’t complete with the sets that came before them. In the case of TBD, it’s following four sets with lots of broken cards in them. The next expansion is likely to suffer a similar fate.
Cards need to rotate faster. Standard has way too many cards.

Posted in: Black CatIf Soot Spewer had had cycle it would have been in every Mage deck. So the comparison doesn't really work.

ShadowsOfSense posted a message on Marin the Fox PredictionsPosted in: Fan CreationsGuys, I think it's pretty obvious what he'll be...
In all seriousness, super interested to see what you guys predict. It'd be cool if we managed to get it exactly right before it's revealed! Remember that the previous 'event' exclusive legendaries are Elite Tauren Chieftain and Gelbin Mekkatorque - look to them for inspiration!

CypherBenkes posted a message on Thank you, Blizzard.Posted in: The ArenaI've never broken past 7 wins in Arena. Today, I drafted a deck that landed me 12 wins for the first time, and my success is largely due to the Arena being Dual Class today. I've never had so much fun with Arena that I was laughing. Arena never really felt exciting. Today? Different story, and for the first time, I got to really play with the big boys in Arena. Beat two or three Legend card backs, and 5-6 Golden Heroes. I've never felt this good about Arena before, and I had a terrific time. Considering a lot of people use HearthArena and I purposely don't, it feels amazing to finally get 12 wins without using suggestions. This has been a personal goal of mine, even if it's not the normal Arena. This has been a tremendous success, and I will always cherish this moment.
Thank you, Blizzard.

Vordhosbn posted a message on Ben Brode Interview - Insight into Casual Hearthstone, Meta, Just for Fun, Card BansPosted in: NewsIf they want people playing weird, funny and bad decks in casual mode they should add achievements. In WoW TBC era nobody was questing in the old low level zones, collecting as many pets/mounts as possible etc. After adding achievement system, suddenly the world was full of people doing cool (or boring) stuff. Achievements could be like "Deal 50 damage to Demons with Ironforge Rifleman or Stormpike Commando", "Control Illidian and 6 Flames of Azzinoth" possibilities are endless. Achievements rewards could be Gold, Dust, random cards, packs, arena tickets...

HS community is pathetic. Everything that is made that is good and you lose against 'Omg please nerf' or 'wtf blizz is so dumb for making this card'. How about if you encounter a card a lot, then tech against it? I suppose using your brain isn't a thing in this game anymore. Just copy pasta deck lists.

Good luck setting that up.

According to this forum, every card that is good. Unless they nerf it, then the new good ones that were bad are the poorly designed ones.

The game is balanced. There are some good cards, some bad cards. There are some good decks and some bad decks. That is balance. HS is a card game. Some cards are stronger than others. That's never going away. If you don't like it then HS is not the game for you. But really, 95% of the community complains about a strong card for 24 hours a day, seriously, the game is a better place without you! 'Oh my god, nerf this please'. 'Oh my god, too strong, screw Blizzard'. It's pathetic.
1
Damn bad design, how dare there be good decks with different power levels in a card game! If you don't like HS, don't play it. It hasn't changed too much!

Ah yeah, something is strong so it must be bad design.

Well, we're supposed to be professional.

'fewer legendaries', not 'less'

Barnes is considered a good card. What happens when Barnes gets nerfed? Something not so good takes its place. Then we have a new good card. You want that nerfed too? Seriously, this is a card game. Some RNG is allowed, and it is okay to have good or bad cards, just like there are probably good or bad weapons in WoW (pre Legion). Seriously though stop crying because something is good, post when something is oppressive and dominating multiple archetypes/classes.

Ahh, the inevitable posts that appear after this where everyone wants every single card that has ever been considered good rotated.
