To all the priest haters out there: Happy new year!!!
If you can't change the situation change your perspective they say....
so what some people do in wild -including me- is to reach Diamond 5 with a fresh deck we enjoy to climb with and then swich to a priest killer
Maly druid some months ago, now mill rogue, both priest are just rage quit after a long fight, you lose 80% to aggro so you are just not going to hit legend, but you will win ALL priests. So...... the more annoying opponents the more disguisting priest decks i face the More fun i have playing HS.
: )

There are tons of decks that you can play and have fun with in wild, although at higher ranks you only see the same 6-7 ones. What you want to craft/play depends both on your preferences as well as on your budget + current owned cards, but in general some legendaries that are more or less 'evergreen' and you won't regret crafting are: Patches (auto-include in countless aggro decks), Loatheb (auto-include in almost all Reno decks, many other control decks and even some aggro/tempo decks like Odd Paladin) and Baku (Odd decks are always meta, whether Odd Paladin, Odd DH, Odd Rogue or even Odd Shaman and sometimes Odd Hunter and even odd Mage)

Too slow againts Cancer Shaman. It takes at leat 7 turns to deploy a kind of defense and you get overwelmed before that. Not good.

am just wondering when will those idiots nerf evolve shaman

WIld should be wild n' crazy! Let it stay as it is!

Edwin is not the problem, Shadowstep is the card that allows that monstrosity.

I assume only 1 and 2 cost Hero Powers are legal?
Yes.
Does the Class itself have to relate thematically to the expansion we choose to have it release with?
Preferably yes. But you don't have to. Maybe try to do one or two cards that match the expansion, and the rest are just randoms.
The set I choose means that's where the class is introduced?
Also, for the basic, ref either lifesteal / rush / poison - one of each or is e.g. one that has poison, while neither of the other 9 has lifesteal/rush is fine?
And... how do you design the set icons like those in mcf4rtson's signature?
Yes.
Yes.
They're not really set icons, rather just representations on my class. They aren't used on the card itself. That being said, search up "fantasy game crests" or something along those lines in google images.
Quote from YourPersonalGuru >>So just one basic card that has either of those keywords right? Can it be a buff spell?
Just one (or more). It can be any kind of card.
Couple of things. You can't have silence in basic. Sharp Eclipser isn't a combo card, it's still a control card but one that needs hand advantage. This will also make it harder to print lots of cheap spells in the future.
Star Seeking is a worse Arcane Intellect, should be 2 mana.

Why are we still complaining about DH? I think it's a good class sure but even before the last set of nerfs I never really considered it to be "broken". I admit that Soulshard Lapidary and Blade Dance are a little problematic, but why spend so much time and energy complaining when it would be better spent figuring out how to counter those cards? Grow up already. Literally eat sand irl. Creating threads on this topic does literally nothing and wastes everybody's time.

Complaining about free stuff...like really?

One of the most balanced metas - characteristics: CreatedBy, tremendous highrolls, two classes MIA, and priest Has lost its stature as most unfun to play against to at least 2 classes.
Brawl That.

Well, I don't disagree, and you're one of 10k. My opponent could see my hand in mtg as well, and choose a card I should discard (e.g. Coercion). So what? If you know you're getting into a game where here and there your cards are transparent, that means you have leverage of bluff, that what they saw is what you have, while using the new topdecks as surpriae factor.
Card games Can't have all.decks at 48-52 WR, and they're not supposed to, that's why deck building and tech skills are important. I don't like my opponent playing Lazul, but he did. Is the game over? Not even close. Do they know the other cards? No.
Don't want your opponent to see your hand? You're playing the wrong game. Trust me, it could be Much worse, where Stelina-like cards exist, at least priest doesn't 'discard'. It ain't fun playing vs priest, and I say it AS a (currently former) priest main, but it's a game, priest exists, and it's still better game than guardian druid decks that require 20 iq, and bomb warriors that require less.

Build your own decks...
Really? There are 0.01% who do build their own decks and the rest netdeck, and those 0.01% don't complain, we tech our decks better.
And besides, this
In mtg you couldn't do it, which is why I love HS shenanigans, with all its faults.

Apprentice is almost the single cause the game feels bad when playing vs mage, because without it they actually need to combo properly. Make it 3 cost then, but That Is the card that needs nerfing. Turtle mage is BS.
Wrench able to shove more than 2 bombs is the point, instead of shoving 10 thanks to weapon effects, while the weapon deals very little damage to face by itselt And what hurts opponent is Their rng draws.
Sage is fine, it's an epic 3/3 for 3, requires a Board condition (tougher than holding a dragon, and certainly isn't a mage spell by itself), it delays attacks with the stealths, and rogue as aggro needs fuel. With the only other one being SP, which doesn't 'belong' to early turns, it's fine.
My point with shaman is mainly the long run. Sandstorm, Portal, and Eye DO see play, and all are fine as are, but if you lower the Forked & Storm OL to 1, the whole shaman scene would be ressurected, because right now if you do either you go 2 turns back vs aggro, or in other words - you basically give aggro a free turn. That one mana on basic/classic is way more meaningful.
I don't like these trend more than anyone, but I'll give OP his due he didn't go with the "there's one game where [card] was highrolling so nerf the bitch" BS.

I agree nerfs are needed, but I barely agree even with shaman.
Druid - Overgrowth to 5, yes. Remove rush from Guardians spell is even better.
Mage - Sorcerer's Apprentice can't reduce below 1, I don't know what turtle mage does, I kill them before.
DH - Lapi to 4, 4/4, give +4. That's it, enough with the DH nerfs, the class needa its day.
Warrior - Wrench to BC and DR, or bombs down to 3 dmg. Agree with Boom bots.
Paladin - braggart to 3 is fine, but Libram 'NOW' in deck and hand only get reduction is better (lady shouldn't create 0 mana cheat spells)
Rogue - Really, you want more? Finally we have a three decks that work without superior mana cheats.
Shaman - none agreed, because OL 1 means 'this card should cost the OL amount more'.
Elemental is a mage spell on a 2/2, should cost 3. Portal is Lightning bolt (which is ok as is) + 3-cost, so 4-cost is fine. Tidal wave is a killer. But, both Forked Lightning and Lightning storm should be OL 1, Earth elemental at OL 2. We need the basic/classic fixed, not some set cards.
Still, a better nerf post than the utter most.

There, fixed it for you.

Thanks for the good laugh (:

That's it? 6 classes worthy of ladder, each with 1 deck? I understand it's 'some' decks, but, c'mon (:
Where are face hunter, painlock, weapon rogue, face rogue, aggro dh, mozaki otk? I'd also add quest shaman, it has class.

We're waiting the announcement that there would be announcements on those topics, some of which would announce the upcoming schedule of announcements.
Nerfs should be soon, though.

Evolve, devolve, desert hare. Devolve those patches to be wisps.
Saw one giant deck, just absurd, but hell, you have it, go for it.
