Paladins (all variations) were pretty strong against them before the patch and i would dare to guess that even with Cariel at 8 mana they should still be ok.

Well, some people like me likes his content, he is not a sellout boy begging for some Blizzard charity...

Nope, he has gone the opposite way, exaggerating the negatives and then inventing some (i.e. lying) when there's no bad news to talk about.

The funniest part about this whole thread is calling Zeddy "well meaning".

The guy literally lied and attacked the game to gain attention, because he really has nothing to offer other than salt.

This is patron warrior all over again. Hated deck but really low win rate because the skill ceiling is so high.

I'm pretty sure this supports my OP.

It's a good deck. Just agro hand dumping players have no clue how to play it well.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but it is in no way comparable to PW.

VS has stats by rank, you can check top legend and you'll find out that even in the most capable hands the deck is just weak (and nowhere close to the complexity of PW)

I think that the deck's main problem at the moment is the polarized meta and the fact that warlock's hate cards are not flexible.

You can run hand disruption to beat control warrior, but your aggro matchup will be horrible, or you can forego the hand disruption to beat aggro, but concede every warrior game. That's not a good spot to be in.

He has doubled down on that statement because he is *technically correct*

You can't get items with money, you can only get access to better GEMS for your items.

Of course, the fact that gems are part of your gear (and probably the most important part) makes that statement shady and incenscere, but he's technically correct.

I mean dude, from what I read, that $110000 number was some low-level math from somebody that didn't even played the game and didn't have the information...

And you can do the same analysis with almost any MMORPG game that has paid currencies or currencies that can be converted to real money in some way (like EVE Online). I mean, the last one is considered one of the best MMORPGS of the history. And you can't play it if you don't spend 12hs per day. Ships can cost up to 30k...

I think this can be reduced to 4 things:

    1. Fake news, due to the misinformation and TERRIBLE communication from part of Blizzard.
    2. Blizzard hate wave on which we are since the past years, and kept growing more and more due to the last issues.
    3. HORRIBLE balance and testing. This is common rule for all Blizz games. If you never noticed this, you never played a Blizz game lol. Not saying this is good, but it's not as terrible as targeting on addictive persons... This game has a drop system based on your level. I think the rates are just broken and you're getting equipment that is behind your actual level.
    4. Indeed an excess of monetization, which sums to all of the previous things.

I'm sorry but your reply has absolutely nothing to do with my comment.

Tl;dw: the biggest problem with the game isn't it's p2w nature, it's that it uses predatory monetisation techniques designed specifically to prey upon those with addictive personalities, or kids with their mom's credit card etc.

As I said. Nobody knows that. We don't know if we can't complete a build for a normal amount of money. Nobody knows that because we don't know what it is inside the various "hells". Read my previous post.

Indeed, if I have to tell the true, I am becoming enthusiastic about this game. It is a mix between a simplified Diablo and WOW (similar pvp and battleground). It is indeed what I expected to see in Warcraft Arclight Rumble (which is crap for me).

We do know because they had to release the odds for some drops, because some countries' laws demand it.

posted a message on Why do Blizz make cards like Spitelash Siren?

So every card should be a variation of Chillwind Yeti? Was the peak of hearthstone for you back in Vanilla arena?

Mana cheating is another way to keep the game interesting, it's just difficult to balance.

It's a great game buried under a mountain of feces.

Every time you take a step the game offers you a microtransaction. Killed a boss? Here, you earned the right to buy this loot!

    It's just filthy.

posted a message on No it's not bias, key cards are sniped immediately after taunt dies.

Are these 948 rounds with no taunts on the board? Or are these the total rounds, but the stats are only from the rounds with no taunt. If so, how many cases were used for each percentage?

posted a message on Buddies vs Non Buddies

It's good as a seasonal event, like Darkmoon Tickets was before. It's better if these mechanics don't stay and stack on top of each other as that would make BGs a bloated mess.

Right before Hearthstone launched the BGs I was playing a lot of DotA Underlords which was very, very good (imho better than TFT) until they released a patch that added a bunch of new mechanics. The game just died directly after that.

They nerfed it because of the interaction with Secret Passage. They unnerfed it because Secret Passage rotated. It's not that bad.
