100% going to be complaints about how the new Core Set sticks the finger up at anyone who collected the full classic set and crafted golden versions of legendaries. Which includes me, but I still get to play them in Wild so idgaf.

And we are wrong to complain? We crafted golden copies...they will give us golden copies too? hmmm...
When I say this is some sort of criminal practice many say it isn't cause it's a children's game, but u know what? The owners of the game are not children, so, lets think about it a second. Some ppl just like to be screwed and others doesn't even have anything to be screwed but are happy anyway to see other people screwed...but anyway, let's focus on what matters - Criminal Practices, u pay, they change, u paid for nothing, now they take it and now u have nothing.

Criminal practice? You don't own these cards, they could shut down the game tomorrow and you would lose all of your cards, golden and all.

The fact that you think this is an argument shows how ridiculous you are.

The fact that you are all arguing over a false premise makes the entire argument ridiculous.

The collected cards aren't being removed. They are being replaced (in one mode), including golden ones.

    F#$k Nozdormu.

As someone who mostly plays on a phone, removing the possibility of a random Nozdormu popping up in my games was one of my favourite changes announced.

Yeah I know that but what I'm trying to say is that some cards like for example Ysera or Deathwing received new improved versions but they are totally new cards, those being Ysera the Dreamer and Deathwing the Destroyer respectively. For that reason you can play good ol' Ysera and Deathwing on wild and also Ysera the Dreamer and Deathwing the Destroyer cause they are separate cards.

On the other hand we're getting cards like Lightning Storm and Feral Spirit which are actually getting buffed. You can't play the deal 2-3 damage Lightning Storm with 1 overload on Wild anymore cause the card as a whole is getting buffed, it's not a separate card. The classic format is a whole other deal and for that one it's exactly the way you're saying it.

I think Lord Jaraxxus falls in the category of buffed and not into the separate card cause as I said he kept the exact same name.

That would definitely make more sense, as having two very similar versions of the same card seems redundant.

Unlike the Shaman cards, there is no statement about Jaraxxus in particular so i guess we'll have to wait and see, although your explanation seems mlre plausible.

Not sure that they're gonna be 2 separate cards, has this been confirmed? Cause the dragons are for sure different cards with different names but Jaraxxus didn't get a name change so it just might be a card buff instead of a whole different card (like Lightning Storm or Feral Spirit).

Afaik the Wild format will contain both the new Core set which contains the new Jaraxxus as well as the Basic and Classic sets which have to contain the old Jaraxxus for the Classic format.

Standard will have the new one, Classic will have the old one and Wild will have both.

"Golden versions of Core Set cards can be unlocked by completing Achievements associated with winning games as each class."

So yes, they will give you free golden copies of the core set cards. You are whining for nothing.

posted a message on Valeera the Hollow and Secret Passage

In the previous Brawl i had a similar interaction between Secret Passage and an echo card (the echoed card stayed in hand after returning from the Passage).

The same has been reported for Evocation + Secret Passage.

So basically, whatever is supposed to disappear at the end of your turn doesn't, because they return to your hand after the check happens.

posted a message on Darkmoon Prizes are gone

Other than the fact that i lost my first 3 games badly, until i could adjust to this new old meta, i don't miss them. It was fun while it lasted but i had enough of them, as the mode eventually became very much "avoid the highroller".

I hope they come up with more seasonal events like this regularly.

So no acknowledgement that the rewards track was complete fuckery and it took a large part of the community rising up to get blizzard to fix it. All the while the shills here kept saying it was fine in it's first iteration.

That's probably because it actually was fine.

Because of the buffs i will now have 30% more gold for the next set than i had each time. Before the buffs it would only be 5-10% plus some packs and epics. Still an upgrade.

People always seem to cry about something. We could simply ignore them, but the thing is that Blizzard somehow listens to their demands. Maybe because they're trying to revive the game, but eventually whiners get what they want. They got it with Yogg, they maybe get it with Tickatus.

Sometimes people's demands are justified and Blizzard listens (or should listen) because it's what's best for the game.

Very often however, people get into a mob mentality and attack the game because they feel frustrated. The reason the developers act upon that is that if they don't, there will be people that attempt to capitalize on that and promote themselves as some sort of "protector of the average player", leading players to actually quit the game.

Blizzard brought this on themselves, not just because of whatever mistakes they have been led to by Activision's very real greed, but because of how terrible they are at communicating what is happening and why. People are suspicious about the developers' every move, and they are very often leaving themselves open for criticism.

I expect classic mode to become a meme after everyone has had their fill of it, and that's ok.

We don't need a dozen popular modes. We need a few very good ones and a bunch of fun modes to let off steam.

It's only alura breaking the game here, but she could do that anyway with coin into commencement or blessing of authority. It's just one card warping a whole deck. Nozdormu is fine, you get to use the 10 mana before they do, I think it's a fun and interesting card.

You will also be able to play an amazing 1 game / hour, as Priest is just so good at closing out games.

posted a message on Should they add a "I dont want to grind to legend but still rank feature"

I've seen plenty of fun decks on D5. Also the majority of opponents in low Legend still play tier1 decks.

    This would be pointless.
