posted a message on Appeal to Blizzard about HS cost
    Quote from Trademark >>

There have been constant threads like this on reddit every day for at least 3 weeks but there are no plans to reduce the cost of the game. Read all about it here:

    http://www.metabomb.net/hearthstone/news/kobolds-and-catacombs-interview-with-peter-whalen-and-ben-thompson

The only way there will be changes to the game's cost will be if their revenues drop noticeably. From the ammount of constant threads and people posting they will no longer spend any money, I am willing to assume their revenue will be lower this expansion though just by how much remains to be seen.

If you want the game cost to change, if you want overdue features to be added to the game, if you want players worldwide to be treated as equals and if you want the money you spend to be used for improving the game instead of being pocketed as profit vote with your wallet. Just because you can afford it, it doesn't mean you don't deserve more value for your money. Stop paying until things change. If enough people do, things will most definitely change.

So what’s you’re saying, is that, I shouldn’t spend money on the game I love because some people think it should Be different?

I'm not wasting any money on it.

    I pre-ordered, but I don't think it's a waste.

If you are the sort of player who usually buys some packs, I'm sure you will regret not pre-ordering. There has never been an expansion that didn't contain enough must-haves to justify the cost. Some expansions may have been unpleasant or even bad for the game overall, but there are always numerous cards that see a lot of use even as the meta shifts with the expansions that follow.

I'm in the same boat. Either you're gonna need cards from this expansion, or you're quitting the game.
That's quite an escalating mindset. How about the people that don't make a big deal out of new expansions and continue playing? I pre-order new expansions because Hearthstone has provided an unfathomable amount of entertainment (and frustration) and I will continue to play until I grow out of it.  People make too much of new expansions. Pre-order or don't. Play or don't.
You're an outlier. You choosing to cripple yourself is not standard.

posted a message on Have you pre-ordered Kobolds & Catacombs?

Gonna buy my usual 100-160 packs nearly immediately after opening my preorder packs. I spend all my gold on classic packs 10 at a time in an effort to try and complete my classic collection.

    Quote from Ludeus >>

I have read your original post, and I have read most of the subsequent replies; I think you are a very confused person, OP.

Salt thread exists because this game can be frustrating, and because people are largely irrational glorified animals, (excuse the edge). No one rational would get tilted out of the game and decide that the next best course of action is jumping into a third party site and ranting at its users. Someone this irrational, emotional, stupid, or mentally ill can't make valid points, and even if they try, it will be usually riddled with holes and amateurish understanding of the game, its information system, and its business.

In the first place, people aren't the slaves of their emotions. Pay attention, this is an important life lesson. No one is their emotions. Humans are much more than what they just feel in the ticking seconds. You are perfectly capable of restraining, out waiting, outsmarting your own anger.

Which is to say that even in the fits of anger, you can acknowledge that your vision is clouded and whatever that comes out of your mouth or finger will be most certainly riddled with logical holes. In the same vein, you can also understand that it is better to wait out your anger, and review the points you wanted to make after cooling down. If they are valid, you can post them and spark a meaningful discussion. Sure, you could have posted it in a fit of anger but that would have come out with a childish tone that would have provoked controversies. By waiting, you ensured minimal resistance. You lost nothing.

Tl;dr angry people make stupid points. if their point is valid, then they can just wait out their anger and speak in a more neutral tone.

This is the first sane post in the thread.

When people go off the rails in the salt thread, they deserve to be made fun of. This is a game, sometimes frustrating things happen. When people act toxically they should expect to be treated toxically.

This is the most pathetic whine thread I've had the displeasure of stumbling upon on this website. Suck it up Mr OP Baby.

You should be posting in the salt thread. This topic has been beaten to death already. I'm sure it won't be long until the mods close this pathetic whine thread.

How about we wait until the card sees some freaking play. How on earth do you think that you could make a 'better' effect without first having explored the current one? This is some insane hubris.

Why in  the world is 60 packs 88 dollars.

99.99% of people here don't work for Blizzard dude, you are asking in the wrong forum.
Then the 0.01% of the people that do can answer the question
Woah dude, chill out. The hearthpwn forums don't owe you anything.
