So I really figured with the import of the Boomsday cards this patch, we'd finally get Mountain Giant and the rest of the recently changed cards updated, but unfortunately not. The only reason it's of importance to me, is because we rely on Hearthpwn's imports on the wiki, as they are the proper scale and have the proper spacing that keeps them consistent with the other cards when listed. Without Hearthpwn updating simple things in a timely fashion, both this site and the wiki are kept out of date, which is a shame when you consider that they are the two top community sites that show up as a result of googling anything Hearthstone related.
A list of cards that need image updates, to show the extent of the issue:
I really hope that whoever needs to know can be reminded that this work desperately needs to be done, the top two community resources for this game have had out of date images for far too long and it's not entirely a minor detail, it makes it feel lazy and lessens credibility.
You're very clearly misunderstanding what he meant. He was game *director* on a team of many people, he no longer was working directly in creating content, which is where his passions lay.
That wasnt my point. Its that some decks are practically autoplay, and people still enjoy playing it? Thats what I find fascinating. Doesnt really make for great gameplay, does it? Or am I missing something here?
Play literally any physical or digital card game, metas form and "best decks" are inevitable. The easiest way to play competitively is to play a deck that is known good. The higher you go in ranking, the more and more net decks you'll see, and that's just how these types of games work. And yes, people *do* enjoy playing netdecks, I do, and I also enjoy analyzing the meta and watching decks grow and phase in and out and seeing how decks react to other decks entering the meta, it's half the reason I enjoy this game.
Call me crazy, but I don't think a 2-attack weapon will see play in Midrange paladin decks. Rallying blade is run right now because it's 3 attack lines up perfectly with the most annoying early game threats currently in the meta. Even with the battlecry bonus, I feel like the 2-attack is going to be a hindrance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but other than Legendaries (which are in their own buckets, iirc), isn't rarity largely irrelevant in current Arena drafting?

Thanks so much for the reply and looking into it!

You're trolling, right? Druid has gotten some of the absolutely most busted combo-deck cards in the entire game this expansion.

Rush =/= Charge

That's the point actually, it's amusing because the last secrets they got turned out to be garbage.

It's simply against their philosophy. Bad cards are necessary in this style of game, and they appeal to different types of players.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't look like that in game, it seems a *lot* of the Kobolds and Catacombs golden animations didn't import properly this run.

1. Highlander Priest is weak to Big Druid, Jade Druid, Exodia Mage, Secret Mage and Big Priest.
2. Tempo Rogue, the gold-standard version of this right now, is weak to Aggro Druid, and at the moment that is it's main bad matchup.
And by the way, this is based on meta data not opinion :P

It's called fun.
