I'll be dropping notes about my experience in Un'Goro so far playing a Deathrattle Priest deck in Standard~
Feel free to share your experiences too :)
Elise the Trailblazer seems particularly strong, most of my opponents and myself are carrying her, and it's easy to see why. Her Un'Goro Pack be a pretty useful on-demand hand refill at a vital time, and as a 5/5 body, doesn't leave a huge tempo disadvantage on play. Pulling Tyrantus from her won me one game, which I'm pretty happy about.
Completing Awaken the Makers seems to happen pretty reliably between turn 7 and 9, usually on the early side. Against most decks I'm currently fighting, I'm not finding the need to utilize her until much later in the match though.
N'Zoth is incredible so far in this deck for regaining board control, bringing back your Tortollan Shellraisers and Cairne Bloodhoofs creates a fairly nice protective board in an emergency. Not to mention aiding in refilling your hand through resurrecting your Shifting Shades and Crystalline Oracles.
Taunt warrior seems to start strong, but the Sulfuras ping doesn't do much when they lose board control and they seem to run out of steam quite heavily late in the matchup.
Aggro hunter utilizing The Marsh Queen is very strong right now.
Jesus, as is Aggro Rogue running The Caverns Below. Transforming their board into 5/5 and dropping massive threats for practically no mana is insane, and pulling a 5/5 Patches the Pirate off a Pirate is incredible too. Quest seems to be easy to complete within 4-5 turns fairly consistently and really does come off as fairly broken in power.
Discard Warlock hits pretty strong from the start and gets stronger as the match continues. The Nether Portal can be annoying to deal with and gets even stronger when paired with smart Crystalweaver plays. I ended up losing my only matchup so far with this archetype, failing to draw my N'Zoth, the Corruptor or Un'Goro Pack on time to try to contend his Tempo, but the match did last a long time and he remarked afterwards about the sticking power of dropping Amara, Warden of Hope for the 40 health boost late in the game.
Jungle Giants is a bit slow to complete it seems, and dropping Barnabus the Stomper, while strong at 8/8 for 5 Mana, will definitely not happen on curve and doesn't impact the board that hard besides being a ball of stats, due to only affecting the mana cost of the minions in their *deck*.
No new dagger on Maiev is a huge missed opportunity and a deal breaker for me. I will probably stick to the basic one. Shame.
I'm a bit disappointed too by that. Ben Brode claimed during a stream that not changing the hero power was "important for new players to know what class they were fighting", but I still feel like it ruined a lot of what I was excited for with playing a new hero, the flavor feels wrong using the same dagger with Maiev.
The EU release is only about 6 hours later than the NA release. If they went live at the same time, you'd get an awkward release at something like 7pm on the EU servers.
Not to mention it isn't just a switch Blizzard flips to activate everything, there's prep work to be done on both sides of the pond and extra time is no doubt needed to make sure everything goes smoothly on the European side of things.
It's cleaner and healthier this way, people need to stop QQing.
If you call 7pm awkward what is 00 am CEST??
7pm would have been perfect for me.
Midnight is perfect, it's when daily counters and quests reset, sounds like an ideal launch time to me.

Very strange to hear all of this, I haven't been having any issues at all since the patch related to performance. Although the "crashing when closing" issue is one I've had for months and it's something I've just ignored. *shrug*
Yes, i am free to play player. Got over 60 legendary cards. I grind 100 gold every day, i mean my bot does, but still Blizzard is very greedy.
>Confesses to botting
>Tries to impress with arbitrary numbers but has no uploaded card collection to back it up
You're an impressive soul. <3
I'll never quite understand why people hate companies making money so much, you spend tons of time playing and enjoying their game and yet you despise the thought of them actually making money off such an investment.
Besides, giving you only one copy of a golden card (that they didn't have to give you in the first place) is not making them any real noticeable amount of extra money, and thinking that this decision actually makes a difference in their income is astounding.
You are everything that is wrong with this game and Blizzard in general, classic fan boys, defending every decision they make. What is the point of giving one golden card?So you could craft other and spend your dust? Please explain me.
I do believe that it was confirmed earlier at one point (I believe by Toast? Could be wrong, don't remember) that the card does indeed get milled (destroyed) if your hand is full. Bit of a shame, but mechanically consistent, so can't really complain too much.

This is the enchant used by the Boss Card Legacy of the Emperor during the Lorewalker Cho fight in the game's tutorial.

Just like Brann Bronzebeard, I doubt Umbra will last the extra turn to allow you to pull off combos like that.
That's more of a turn 9 combo.
