Hearthpwn

Someone mentioned there being rogues, mages, hunters, warlocks, warriors, in the game. Yet, all I see is priest, shaman, druid...Blizzard fucked up big time. I hope they lose all players to Legends of RUneterra next year.

I know it's the wrong thread, but I just love when people add you after they lose a match, always curious what they come up with. In this case a control warrior lost against me playing rogue. Hey, it's not my fault that you suck.

The best counter to shaman is shaman. Blizzard fucked up big time again and does not really seem to care...

People complain that they want a new game mode, now they get one with free access and people still complain..

All games die eventually, so in saying it will take a long time for HS to die, you are basically acknowledging that it's not dying any faster than any other game would.

Honestly, I don't see myself enjoying Hearthstone much longer, and yes, it has a lot to do with mistakes they've made in the second half of this year. But I recognize that there are a lot of people who still enjoy HS and other Blizzard games, and I have no reason to believe those fans are going to leave. Hearthstone players have put up with terrible balance in the past, and they'll continue to do so in the future.

Plus, there's the effect of consumers who feel bad about leaving a game they've invested a lot of time and money in. That's a very powerful effect, and I think you might be surprised at how long it can keep a game going.

So even though I will move on, I don't project my feelings and motivations onto the millions and millions of total strangers who happen to be playing the same game as me.

 Except for the fact, that for the fist time in a long time, there will be good competition next year with Legends of Runeterra. I know they said the same with other games, but this one is actually very good. It won't kill HS, but I think a lot of players will hop over. I sure will at least. Blizzards arrogance/disrespect for the community will cost them. It's the same with Star Wars Galaxies of Heroes, where they went to far milking the community and other stuff and a lot of players and youtubers moved on to dragon champions.

I am really fucking sick of Warriors. Brawl, brawl, warpath, warpath, Dr. Boom, a million fucking mechs, heal, heal, rush, rush, fuck you, 20 turns later they finally outvalue you. Oh, and the Grand Archivist just for kicks if you're still breathing 30 minutes later.

Boring shit, unfair, and horrible to play against.

So as a F2P player I'll only need to invest 2800 Gold (which can easily be farmed in <1 month) in order to receive: plenty of hours of new content and some brand new game modes, 15 Rise of Shadow Packs, a very fun and - fingers crossed - playable Golden Legendary and up to 2 new card backs! That's some amazing value right there. Even if you have 0 Gold right now, it's still 1 month until the final Chapter unlocks so no one is left behind. Thumbs up, great job Blizzard!

Edit: I wasn't even aware the rewards would also include a Golden Classic Pack, but thanks for pointing this out! That's even more amazing value now.

 Agreed on Beast Hunter.  It loses a lot of broken things (namely Rexxar) but it still has very powerful class synergy in the Classic set.  

I am not even convinced the DK is needed for the deck right now, but losing Dire Mole and Crackling Razormaw will hurt some.
